3) Jungkook - Interlude: Dream

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Ready or not, here I come!" Alan called out to his son since they were playing hide-and-seek together before dinner.

"Hmm I can't seem to find him," Alan said out loud as he began his search for his 4-year-old son.

"COME DOWN FOR DINNER BOYS!" called Jungkook's mom from the kitchen. After a few seconds of silence, the pattering of feet against the floor was heard as both Jungkook and Alan came running towards the kitchen for dinner.

"I got you!" Alan said, surprising Jungkook as he snuck up behind his son, picking him up and carrying him to the kitchen.

"Careful there, we don't want our precious kookie to get hurt. Now settle down so we can eat" his mother said giggling at her husband's shenanigans.

"Mom, look! I got all As on my report card! Aren't you proud?" 10-year-old Jungkook exclaimed at the dinner table.

"I'm so very proud of you dear! Your father will be extremely happy to hear this! He should be here any minute." Jungkook's mom smiled as she set the table for dinner. Just as she finished her sentence the door opened signaling that Alan had arrived home.

"Welcome home dear," Jungkook's mom said as she walked over to her husband, pecking his cheek, "we are having fried rice for dinner. We have so many leftovers that need to be used and I didn't have much time since I got home right before Jungkook did."

"That's okay darling, it smells amazing so let's eat before it gets cold shall we?" Alan said, sitting down at the dinner table.

As the Jeon family was cleaning up from dinner, Alan announced, "I got next week off so why don't we do something? Kookie you could Invite a few friends and we could rent a lake house for a few days since you just had your last day of school this year, I think that could be a lot of fun!"

"Yay!" Jungkook replied, "I'll invite Yoongi and Taehyung! I'm sure their parents would be okay with it!"

"Tell them their parents are welcome to join too, I'm sure we can find a big enough place, plus if they chip in some money we will have more than enough to pay for a nice place," Alan told his son as he ran to his room to go call his friends, his wife only laughing at the boy's antics once again.

"I really love you idiots" Jungkooks mother sighed with adoring eyes towards her perfect little family.

"WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU ASSHOLE" was heard from outside Jungkooks room signaling that his dreaming had come to an end.

"Yay, another shitty day in this shitty household" Jungkook mumbled to himself and he got up to get ready for the day before his mother came storming into his room to beat his ass.
