About a month or so after the wedding, Maria decided that it was time. She could just see how different the family dynamic was with Alan and Jungkook as new additions and thought that now would be the perfect time to finally transform them into vampires. Jin was still hesitant about how he would react to it because internally he held a grudge against newly turned vampires.
About a century after Jin had been turned, 50 years after the transformation is the cut-off for what would be considered 'newborn', a group of newborn vampires threatened to beat him up. Despite Jin not being a newborn, there was no way that he could handle fighting off a group of 5 guys. Additionally, Jin had his resentment because many of the newborns that he had seen while traveling often went around acting like they were the coolest things ever which held complete disrespect for not just the elders but the entire vampire society. Many vampires feared that the newborns would make havoc with the humans, putting all the hard work of letting mortals and vampires live together peacefully to waste. More personally, Jin despised newborn vampires because of his father. His father made his mother fall for him and even have a kid to tie her down to him. Though he mainly did that so that they would now be obligated to get married and she would turn him into a vampire. However, he would go on to leave her days before the wedding, after he got transformed. While Jin knew that not everyone was like that, that experience alone when he was younger was horrifying for him as he watched it all happen in front of him. He felt weak for not being able to protect his mother from this newborn vampire.
This current situation that Jin was in was different. Despite Jin's distaste towards newborn vampires, this was his new family, and he had vowed to himself after his father left that he would do everything within his power to make his mother happy. He could see how genuinely happy his mother was and he couldn't ruin that. He had to force his demonic side to not take control and make sure that nothing happened to Alan or Jungkook as they transformed.

The transformation took a few days of complete exhaustion for Maria. Her body wasn't able to transform both Alan and Jungkook on the same day so Jungkook went on the second day. However, as their bodies underwent massive changes to accommodate their new life of immortality, it took a toll on both of them. Luckily they were safe where they were and had a lot of help and love around them to get them through the following week. After about a week and a half, both Jungkook and Alan felt well enough to resume their everyday activities of work and school.
As Jungkook returned to school after his two-week hiatus, many new people began to speak to him which he found odd. Many of them were upperclassmen to him so he felt even smaller than he already was. Jungkook found it strange at first and thought that it was only other vampires trying to get used to the different smell of his blood, but soon things began to take a turn for the worse.
Alan didn't have too many strange interactions as he returned to work, most of them were congratulating him and Maria on their marriage and others were asking how the ceremony went, which wasn't as interesting of a story as they were hoping to get.
At home, things weren't too bad. There was some slight tension between Jin and Jungkook that only Jin could sense but other than that, nothing was too bad in the following weeks of their transformation. In fact, Jin began to slowly grow protective over his new younger brother, he was too adorable to be hurt by the cruel world. Jin and Alan had become close, with Alan truly treating Jin like his own biological son, and Maria couldn't be any happier with the family dynamic.
