ch. 55 bye bye, Zeke Yeager

Y/n's pov

I took a deep breath in and out and stared at my lap.

"Y/n, i can talk to him-"

"No it's fine. I need to do this." I cut him off.

We were in Levi's car parked outside of isabel's work, the same cafe i told him i was pregnant.

Let me give you the rundown of the plan.

• I tell Zeke to meet me at the cafe near our school. Because Levi and I broke up. But we didn't actually.

• Have a light conversation with him. Then tell him i have a 6 month old son, and that Levi is the father.

• Then he leaves me alone forever.

Now if things goes wrong we have a back up plan.

○ A.) If he goes crazy- everyone, including Levi, will be hiding in the cafe.

○ B.) He doesn't believe that Eren is my son- I'll just show him pictures.

So now I'm just preparing myself.

"Okay I'm ready." I said with a sigh.

Levi put his hands on my cheeks and kissed my forehead.

"Remember. You can do this and I'll be watching the whole time. I won't let him touch you."

Hearing that brought a smile to my face.

We got out of his car and started walking to the entrance of the cafe. I looked inside and saw that their was a shit ton of people.

School did just end.

We walked inside so Levi and i went our separate ways. Levi went to go find Hanji and the rest while i went to go look for Zeke.

My heart stopped once i saw him sitting by the window.

I bit my lip and started walking up to him. He looked up and he smiled at me.

"I thought you were lying when you said you wanted to see me after school." He said. I sat down across from him but still maintained a safe distance. "You seem down... oh is it because of the break up?"

I didn't know what to say so i just slowly nodded my head.

"It's okay, Y/n. With him out of the picture your worries will be no more." He said in a happy tone that made me sick to my stomach.

Narrator's pov

"So far so good!" Jean whispered yelled to the group hiding behind a wall.

Everyone was watching. Especially Levi, he was watching ever move you made.

But then all of the sudden his phone went off.

Without removing his eyes from you. He answered his phone and put it to his ear.

"Yeah, Hello?"

"Levi, what the hell is going on?!" Levi could hear Furlan speak in a worried tone.

"Why? What happened?" Levi asked not really caring about the conversation.

"Zeke texted me half an hour ago saying how he doesn't need me anymore and that my families debt is fully paid. DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS?" Levi sighed.

"Yes, we're at Isabel's work right now. Y/n is talking to Zeke-"

"Are you stupid?!" He cuts me off. "What if he does something to her!?"

"My eyes are on her as we speak." Levi mumbled. "Look I'll text you after. I need to watch Y/n." Without any hesitation Levi ended the call.

"To be exact. How old are you, Y/n?" Zeke asked you.
