You sat down behind the counter after Chifuyu and Amaya left, and you put your hand on your chest, trying to calm yourself down.
'Why did I say that I don't drink coffee? Why couldn't I just say a simple no?' you asked yourself.
You panicked, that's why, and you say the dumbest shit, when you panic. You didn't want to have coffee with him, because you just knew that once you two start talking, he would think that you are weird, and maybe he would never speak to you again. Well, you wouldn't blame him...
You looked at the sketchbook on the counter and a small smile raised to your lips when you remembered how impressed Chifuyu seemed, while he was looking at your drawing. You noticed that he had a tattoo on his neck, and wrist and while you were more into realistic ones, you liked this simple cross on his wrist and those simple birds on his neck too. Birds symbolized freedom and you wondered if he had a reason why he choose them.
Just when you were thinking about it, the delivery guy walked through the door, bringing fresh flowers to the shop.
Chifuyu was sitting on the couch next to Amaya, watching Mulan. Or more like he was trying to watch it, because he just couldn't stop thinking about that drawing he had seen in your sketchbook. He wanted to have another tattoo for a while now, he just never had the time to actually do it. But now that he was taking a break from work, and managed to stumble across an artist, he couldn't get the idea out of his head. Maybe you weren't a tattoo artist, but he can still ask you if he can borrow your drawing to bring it to a tattoo parlor.
He sighed, then looked at Amaya, seeing that she was still holding the sparkling butterfly in her hands.
"Why don't you like Nina?" Chifuyu asked Amaya.
Amaya shrugged, while still staring down, the action reminded him of you.
"She doesn't make you happy."
Chifuyu's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"Why do you say that?"
Amaya looked at Chifuyu.
"I love you, because you're funny, you always smile, and make jokes." she started, and Chifuyu's heart melted at her words. "But last week when you two came over for dinner, you barely smiled, and it was because of her, and I don't like her for it."
Chifuyu looked back to the TV and thought back to that evening when he introduced his girlfriend to Takemitchi, Hina and Amaya. While they were having dinner, she was always typing on her phone and barely payed attention when Takemitchi or Hina talked to her. It made Chifuyu annoyed, embarrassed even, and Amaya noticed it.
Chifuyu turned on the couch, so he was facing Amaya now. He put his elbow on the back of the couch and leaned his head against his hand.
"And why do you like Y/N?"
Amaya smiled, got on her knees on the couch and lifted the butterfly over Chifuyu's head.
"Because when we were in the shop you were smiling the whole time." she giggled and put the butterfly in Chifuyu's hair.
Chifuyu's eyes widened and he cleared his throat.
"Uhm, maybe I was smiling because of you." he said as he raised his eyes, trying to see the butterfly in his hair.
"And you were staring at her a lot, like this. Amaya said as she opened her eyes big, and leaned closer to Chifuyu.
Chifuyu laughed loudly, but he felt how his cheeks became hot.
"I wasn't staring at her! Staring is rude." he said as he poked her stomach, making her giggle.
"You asked her on a date!" Amaya shouted, pointing a finger at him.
