Elizabeth Summer Hart or better known as Lizzie isn't your normal, sixteen year old girl. She's a Pogue. She comes from the poor side of Kildare island known as The Cut. She wears her heart on her sleeves and carries herself with so much confidence and pride, which is what attracts the boys to her. She's no shy, innocent girl. She's adventurous, impulsive and has had many run ins with the law, which her parents never seemed to mind.
She lives with her parents in a small bungalow in the Cut, down the road from two of her best friends, JJ Maybank and John Booker Routledge. She was first introduced to the hotheaded, handsome JJ when they both started to learn how to surf at the age of 5. She left a good first impression on him since she was the only other good surfer besides him. That's when she was introduced to John B. Together they became the most adventurous trio on the Island. After 4 years, they met Pope Heyward. He's the smartest boy in their year and always got bullied for it, the three had enough of it and welcomed him into their group, making it four. They even made their own handshake and had each other's backs through everything. Eventually, they all welcomed a new person into the group, Kiara Carrera or as they call her, Kie.
