"Dillon?" I was not expecting to see him seated in front of me.
"You guys know each other?" I look over to Bobo, who looks amused.
"A little bit." Dillon told him, not taking his eyes off of me.
"We'll discuss that in a minute, but first lets get some grub." One of the other guys said and the rest quietly laughed.
"What can I get for you guys?" I asked, shaking my head and readying my pen. I take their orders and head to the kitchen.
When I get through the door, I take a deep breath and hand the order slip to Oliver. "What happened to you? You're pale and blushing."
"Remember that guy I told you about?"
"The one you had a few heated make out sessions with?" I nod my head. "Yeah, what about him?" When I just look at him without saying anything his eyes get big. "Oh my god! Is he here?"
He throws his spatula on the counter and runs to the door. "Which one is he?" He asks curiously.
"The one with the dark hair all the way on the right. Sitting next to the blonde."
"Girl!" He shouts and I quickly grab him away from the door.
"Olly! It's not soundproof back here!"
It doesn't take long for Harper to rush through the door. As soon as she does she stops and looks at us weirdly.
"What the hell are you guys doing back here?" She asks. I'm sure we looked very strange seeing as I was mid-tackle. I had one hand over his mouth and one leg wrapped around his legs in an attempt to get him away from the door.
He pulls my hand from his mouth.
"Her Mr. Hottie is out there, and hottie he is!" Oliver says. I move to stand more normally and let go of Oliver.
"What?!"
"Shut up." I tell them. "You guys are so obnoxious!"
"Show me, show me, show me!" She says more quietly. Oliver grabs her hand and brings her to look out the small window in the door while I bury my face in my hands.
"You guys are as bad as children!" I tell them. "Olly, they're going to want their food eventually.
"Right, and you might just need some help carrying it all out!" I just shake my head at him and go back out to the bar.
As I'm helping Charlotte and the few other people that were sitting at the bar, I couldn't help but feel like someone was watching me. When I dared a glance at Dillon, he was staring at me. I quickly look away only to bring my eyes back to his once again and he smiled.
I couldn't help the smile that crept onto my face and I just shook my head and rolled my eyes before continuing with what I was doing.
As I was cleaning glasses, I overheard one of the guys. "Why don't you stop making googly eyes and just go talk to her already, boy!" I bite my lip and try to hide my laughter by turning around to the cooler.
I'm pulling everything forward when I hear someone clear their throat behind me. When I turn around, Dillon is standing there on the other side of the bar.
"Are you stalking me now?" I ask with a smirk on my face. He just laughs and shakes his head.
"You know, Bo was telling me about this cute little thing who worked at the bar, I never in a million years would have thought I'd be seeing you here."
"So you work for Bo?" I ask, and he nods his head.
"Yeah, he's friends with my uncle. So I've been working with him for awhile."
"Hmm I've never seen you come in with them all before." I say thinking back. I'm sure I would've remembered him if he had.
"No, I don't usually join them but Bo made it clear it wasn't optional this time."
"Well I suppose it's a good thing he did." I say with a smile.
"Yeah I suppose it is. So, how was school?" He asked.
"Eh, it was school, so about how you'd imagine." I replied.
"That bad huh." I just smiled.
"How was work?"
"Oh you know, it was work. It drug on. Especially after no sleep." He hangs his head and looks up at me with a smirk on his face.
"Hey, no one said you had to stay up all night."
"As kinky as this conversation is starting to get, foods up." Harper says from beside us, not bothering to hide the big smile on her face.
I feel my face heat up and laugh it off. "Looks like I've gotta get back to work." I say to Dillon before turning and walking back to the kitchen.
Harper follows me back and pokes my side. "I kinda hate how cute you guys are."
"Normally I have pretty good gay-dar, but I mean it could be off today. Give me my shot at him?" Oliver pipes in.
"Oh please, please, please go hit on him! His reaction would be priceless!" I tell him excitedly.
"Oliver, you have to do it now!" Harper agrees.
"Okay, okay. Help me bring this food out." He says, grabbing a couple plates. I quickly grab the remaining plates and hurry to catch up with Oliver.
Oliver sets Dillon's food in front of him and when he's retracting his hand he lets his fingers drag up his shoulder. Dillon was looking down at his plate and I could see his eyes get huge. It took everything I had in me not to bust up laughing.
"Hey, cutie." Oliver says before he leans in close to Dillon's ear and starts whispering something into it that the rest of us can't hear. I can just about imagine what Olly is saying.
I didn't think it was possible but Dillon's eyes continue to grow and he starts shifting uncomfortably in his chair. Using no words, Dillon just starts shaking his head vigorously.
All of a sudden Oliver spoke up. "You're good D! He ain't swinging at what I'm throwing!"
I can't take it anymore and I double over laughing hard. Everyone else joins in, and Dillon's eyes shoot to me with a straight face and he starts shaking his head.
"You." He says before grabbing me and pulling me down onto his lap and tickling me. I start laughing even harder until there were tears in my eyes. Finally he stops. "That was so not funny. I thought he was serious!"
"Oh he definitely was." Dillon's smile drops slightly. "He wanted you for himself. I kinda wish I would've videotaped that, it was priceless."
"Don't worry honey, I did." Harper smiles, holding her phone up.
"Yes! Send me that!" I say at the same time Dillon says, "Delete that."
"So you gonna ask her out yet or what?" One of the guys asks. My eyes grow slightly and Dillon just laughs.
"You fuckers are impatient as shit!" He says, shaking his head at them.
"Well I've got work to do." I say awkwardly and stand up to walk back to the bar. Before I'm able to take a step behind it, a hand grabs my arm whipping me around.
I come face to face with Dillon, and I notice just how close we are.
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing this weekend?" I try to think of what my schedule is.
"I'm pretty sure I have the weekend off."
"Good. I'm taking you out Saturday."
"Okay." Is all I'm able to get out before he kisses me. It's just a short one, nothing like our previous make outs, but it was nice.
I hear whistling and shouts and I pull away laughing. Shaking my head I turn and walk away with a smile plastered to my face for the rest of my shift.
