Waking up for work the next morning sucked. I've been so tired and I think I'm starting to get burnt out a little from working so much. Thankfully I have tomorrow and Monday off from both jobs.

Oliver is already there when I walk in the door. "Olly!"

"Deidre!"

"How was your vacation?" I ask. He had met this new guy about a month ago and they just went down to Mexico for a week.

"Absolutely wonderful! Have I told you how amazing Logan is?" He asks gushing.

"You might have mentioned it a time or two." I tell him laughing softly.

Our morning passes slowly. I am only scheduled to work until 2pm today. When I look at the clock it is finally 1pm.

"Finally I am almost done! I'm so ready to go home and sleep for the rest of my life." I tell Oliver.

"You still working over at that tattoo parlor?" He asks.

"Yeah. Whenever I'm not here, I'm there."

"You work to much."

"I know. I have the next two days off though."

"Good. You better enjoy them." The front door opens and in walks Bobo with a few guys. Just as he said he would.

"I was starting to think you weren't going to show." I tell him with a smile.

"Yeah it got a little later than I planned." He tells me just as the door opens again. I look over and in walks Dillon. Great, the last person I wanted to see. Especially when I'm at work and especially after last night.

Oliver turns to me and I must've had a look on my face.

"Why don't you go out for a smoke. I've got these guys." I give him half a smile in thanks and head towards the back door.

It's been a month, I don't know why I still feel like this. Anyone else and I wouldn't have given it a second thought by the second day.

I light a cigarette and put it to my lips taking a steady drag.

"You keep running from me." I jump. So stuck in my own thoughts I didn't realize someone approach me.

"I'm not running from you. I came out for my smoke break." I roll my eyes at him. Hoping he can't hear how fast my heart is beating.

"So you're just avoiding me." Dillon says.

"No I'm not avoiding you either."

"You just took off last night." He keeps pushing.

"Seriously, if you must know, I had just got done working both jobs and was tired, seeing as I had already been there for awhile before I ever saw you. And I had to leave because I had to wake up early this morning to open this place."

"Yeah, okay, that's why that douche you were talking to seemed a little confused as to why you would just walk away. And after I kiss you, you just took off." He says rolling his eyes at me.

"Oh piss off. First of all, he wasn't a douche. And secondly, I'll tell you once again it's none of your god damn business. Not anymore."

I finish my smoke and put the butt in the ashtray, turning to go back inside.

"Deidre, please." He says sighing, but I ignore him and let the door close in his face.

I go into the kitchen and cook for the rest of my shift, not feeling like talking with anyone.

When my shift ends, I go straight home and take a nap.

When I wake up it's already 9pm. I shower and get dressed in a thick hoodie and jeans. Not having anything better to do, I grab my drawing pad and some pencils putting them into a bag. Tossing my phone, keys, and smokes in there as well, I go out to the freezer and grab my bottle of whiskey before walking out the door.
