A month later, I'm sitting on my bed. I didn't go to work today and thankfully it's Friday so I have the weekend. I've been feeling like shit all week. I bring up Kelsy's contact on my phone and call her.

"Hey, babe. What's up? I was actually just going to call you." She answers.

"You free to talk?" I ask.

"Of course. What's wrong? You sound off."

"I am. I'm freaking out."

"Spill."

"Well I've been feeling like shit all week so I figured maybe my period's coming and is just making me feel crappy. But when I checked my calendar, I saw that I was late. So I went and got a test."

"Oh my God."

"Yeah. I don't know what I'm going to do!"

"How did this happen? I thought you were on the pill?"

"I am! But I was thinking back and I think when I was going through all that shit with my mom and finding out about my dad, I must've spaced it. How could I have let this happen?"

"It'll be alright. What did Dillon say?"

"I haven't told him yet. How am I supposed to tell him that I'm pregnant? We just got back together a few months ago, and now this! I'm freaking out Kels. We've never even talked about kids."

"You love him don't you?"

"Of course I do!"

"And I know he loves you. You need to just tell him, Dee. You guys will figure it out together."

"I know. I'm just scared, I guess."

"That's perfectly normal. Will and I were too, but now we couldn't be more excited."

It took a minute for her words to sink in.

"WHAT?!" Kelsy starts laughing on the other end of the phone.

"That's why I was calling you. We found out a month after the wedding, and were waiting to tell anyone until I was a little farther along."

"Kelsy! I'm so excited for you guys. Congratulations."

"You too, momma."

"Okay, can we wait on that until I'm done freaking out, please?" We both start laughing.

"Go talk to Dillon. Let me know how it goes."

"Okay, love you Kels, and tell Will congrats."

"Love you too, and I will."

We hang up and I sit there staring down at the test a little longer before getting up and sliding it into my back pocket.

I make my way down to the shop and walk through looking for Dillon. He spots me first and calls out to me as he makes his way to me.

"Hey." He says, kissing me.

"Can we go to your office?"

"Sure." He grabs my hand and pulls me into his office, before shutting the door behind us. "What's up?"

I don't know what to say so instead I pull the test out of my pocket and just hand it to him avoiding eye contact.

"What's this?" I give him a minute to actually look at it. Soon he stands up and walks to me. "Baby, look at me."

I slowly look up at him.

"What's wrong sweetheart?"

"Do you know what that means?" I ask.
