A month has passed since Dillon and I broke up. I've been working on getting my life back to normal. I still work at The Twisted Glass but I switched to more part time hours so I could start working with Zane to make sure tattooing is what I want to do.

So far I have loved every minute of it.

"Hey Zane, I have to get going." I tell him as I walk up to his work station.

"So early?"

"Yes, I told you this morning that they needed me at the bar."

"That's today?"

"Yes."

"Okay, well drive safe. I'll see you Tuesday right?"

"Yup. Bye, love you!"

"Love you too, kid."

"Bye Michelle!" I call to her as I walk out the door.

"Bye Deidre!" She hollers back.

It is a beautiful Friday afternoon. I didn't have school today so I've been at the shop since early this morning.

I pull up to the bar and get out heading right in.

"Hey Deidre." Elijah says.

"Hello Elijah." I tell him giving him a smile.

"Thanks again for coming in for me tonight. Harper called in this morning with the flu so I've been here all day."

"No problem. I was just at the shop."

"How's that going?" He asks as he finishes up putting glasses away.

"l love it. Won't be able to touch any skin for a long time. But just getting to work around people who are so talented I'm learning so much."

"That's great. I'll hate when you leave here though. Don't you graduate soon?"

"Yup. Two more months. My friend Roxy and I have already started looking for places in the city."

"Damn, two months." he shakes his light brown hair. "Well I suppose, I have to get to the sitters to pick up my Katie." Elijah has the cutest little auburn haired daughter.

"Give her a hug from me!"

"Will do." With that he waves and walks out leaving me to myself. Oliver will be here in a couple hours to help me close.

I get busy on some cleaning, seeing as the place is empty. Half an hour later I'm in the kitchen when I hear the bell above the front door chime.

"I'll be right with you." I holler.

"No rush, sweetie!" I recognize Bobo's gruff voice call back. I finish scrubbing the counter and walk out to the bar and to Bobo's table.

"Well look who it is. I thought you left us." Jasper says as I walk up to their table.

"Nope, not yet. I got a second job though so I haven't been working as much here. What will it be today guys?" I ask pulling out my order pad.

"Burgers all around and a beer for me." Bobo says. I go around the table and get their drink orders and any specifications they had for their burgers.

I head back to the kitchen and throw their burgers on the grill before coming back front and getting them their beers. I head back to the grill and make up their food. As I bring the last of it out Bobo turns to me.

"How early do you guys open tomorrow?" He asks.

"Usually eleven."

"Perfect. I'm making a few of the guys work a half day tomorrow and promised lunch."
