Ambulance and police cars came rushing outside the school as soon as the incident took place, the blaring sound of the sirens wailed around the campus causing the crowd to get bigger and the campus became more likely a crime scene in no time.

With all the ruckus going on infront of the building, Hiah was there at the rooftop, hugging her knees, almost frozen in so much fear, and she was frantic with worry; worried that, that girl really died after jumping from the rooftop of a high building.

...and she has to end up witnessing everything.

She wanted to run somewhere - anywhere where she could find the comfort and peace she desperately needs, she wanted to erase everything from her mind and forget that, that horrifying scene even happened.

She wished she could've convinced that girl more sooner - she wished she could've been there more sooner.. but if that girl will take time to realize that she's basically wasting her life in a nonsensical way, she could've just held her hand and prevented her from falling..

But it all happened already, in split seconds, that girl chose to pass her sufferings to Hiah.. her last words came true, after ending what was killing her inside, Hiah caught every bit of it and she doesn't even know how to deal with it.

"Student!", Hiah flinched at the loud banging of the door that opens to the staircase, and as it was forcefully pushed open, three police officers came in a rush. "How long have you been here?!"

The lady police that seemed to be the one on lead slowly jogged towards Hiah while the two men police stayed a few distance as per told by the lady.

The lady police kneeled infront of her. "Are you okay?"

Trembling, Hiah slowly looked up to face who asked her with those soft told words. "I.. I couldn't s-save her.", Her voice was shaking, clearly showing how anxious she was.

"Did you see what happened?"

She nodded. She saw every second of it and now, it won't leave her mind even for a bit. "S-She just w-wanted to die so e-easily.. she jumped off s-so fast and I couldn't get ahold of her.. I don't k-know who she is.."

"I know right now that it's so hard for you, but you have to come with us to the police station."

Her eyes widened and she trembled even more, more than she could ever. "W-Why? I didn't do i-it."

"You're the only one here and you have to become a witness in this case. So you have to come with us and testify and to also prove that it was suicide and not murder."

Murder. That word terrified her so much, she had goosebumps all over just by hearing it. What she meant to do was to help that girl and keep her away from ending her life, definitely not to murder anyone.

As soon as she was helped to stand up, the air felt more colder, everything seemed so dark, and horrifying enough, she seemed to understand why that girl wanted die, because everything appears gloomy, even after that long day will end, the dawn of the sun won't even be off help to make anything brighter.

The walk from the rooftop all the way to the police car was a torture; police officers were following her from behind, she was headed to a car used to drive criminals, and everyone's eyes were on her, even whispering words that she could hear.

"I can't believe someone as young as her could do something like that."

"How can she even get to school now."
