Younghoon sat alone in silence in Sangyeon's study, thinking about the worst thing that could happen to Y/n.

"How long do you plan on staying inside here?" Jaehyun walked in, briefly looking around.

Younghoon sighed and leaned back on the chair he was sitting on, clearly frustrated, "When are we going?"

"We don't know yet. We left everything under Sangyeon's control and he's busy overthinking about Hyunjun's health so, it doesn't look like we're going to attack anytime soon," Jaehyun slightly pouted.

They stayed there in silence until Jaehyun spoke up again, "I heard that most of the servants in the castle are humans...so you don't have to worry much about her, she'll get along with them just fine. Her bright personality says it all."

"She might get help from one of them..." Younghoon muttered, "She might fall in love."

Jaehyun rolled his eyes, "Please, why are you crushing on a human like Y/n? It's clear that you'll never have to chance to even kiss her on the lips."

Younghoon scoffed, "I said nothing about kissing," he looked up at the latter with a smirk, "You must be as worried as I am about her."

"So what? Isn't it normal for me to worry over someone I care about?"

"It's not just because you care, Jaehyun," Younghoon stood up from his seat to leave. He paused before walking out.

"If you haven't noticed, the competition is pretty tough. I've been in this for a while now so, all I can do is wish you luck."

"Sangyeon, how long are we going to raise the white flag?" Sunwoo spoke up for the first time that day.

The oldest winced and shook his head, "My mind is all over the place, I'm not over the incident from last night yet. It's hard to focus, with Hyunjun being in a crucial state."

Sunwoo simply exhaled before looking out the window and staring at the castle that stood glamorously at the end of the border.

"I already have a plan in mind," he turned his head to look at Sangyeon, "Will it be okay of we go with it instead of waiting for your orders?"

Sangyeon thought for a whole minute, "I'm okay with it but...I'm not sure about the others. Go and talk to them about it."

He merely nodded before walking away with no expression written on his face. He was immediately stopped in his tracks when he took a turn.

"A plan?" Juyeon spoke lowly, tilting his head as he blocked Sunwoo from walking any further.

"Yes. Do you have a problem with it?"

"Do you think I can trust you with this plan of yours? You've been suspicious lately."

Sunwoo simply eyed him, clearly disinterested.

"You planning to step up with an idea to break in the castle is quite out of the blue, don't you think?" Juyeon chuckled, "Or you're secretly behind all of this chaos."

Sunwoo harshly nudged him out of his way with a cold stare, "I'm doing this only for Y/n, nothing else."

Juyeon watched as he walked off. That can't be it. He thought to himself.

"Changmin, it's not the time to cry," Chanhee lightly shook the latter who was curled up on his bed, sobbing softly.

Chanhee frowned. It was suddenly hard to handle all of those things by himself. One may say he had gotten so used to having someone to work beside him.

"Who knew you liked her this much..." He sighed and gave up trying to get Changmin sit up on the bed.

He left for the kitchen at once, just to see someone in there, causing him to jump a little out of surprise, "Shoot, I thought you were Y/n for a moment."

Kevin turned his head, "This must've not happened if I had known earlier," he smiled bitterly.

Chanhee simply furrowed his eyebrows, not sure how to comfort him, "Don't be too hard on yourself, she won't like that."

Kevin exhaled and held onto the edge of the counter as he lowered his head, eyes shut, "She stumbled in here for a reason."

I quietly walked beside the Prince after having lunch together with him.

Heeseung: Thank you for joining me today. I doubted that you'd want to see my face again after everything I had done.

I didn't utter a single word, resulting in him to swallow a lump in his throat.

Heeseung: The Queen hasn't seen you ever since you reached last night. She's really looking forward to meet you.

Y/n: Why did your mother leave her first family for someone like your father?

He looked obviously offended. Maybe because he didn't like the way I addressed his father or he didn't want the Queen to be called as his mother.

Heeseung: "Someone like" my father? What are you talking about? My father had never done something awful for you to address him like that?

Y/n: He's still one of the many kings in this world, who has power and control over the whole kingdom and is filthy rich.

Heeseung: Well, you can say the Queen was a gold digger, who came from the human world, just like you.

I glanced up at him with no expression. I had no time to argue with him.

Y/n: Call me whatever you like, I don't care. I just want to know plenty of information about the family tree. We're getting married after all.

He chuckled.

Heeseung: You're not eligible to sit on the throne beside me yet. You're still a feeble little human.

Y/n: Then tell me, why choose me as your wife when you obviously despise humans so much?

Heeseung: Does it even matter? True love doesn't exist, I'll just waste my time if I search for someone I like, so it clearly doesn't matter. Plus, it'd be fun to see the look on Hyunjun's face.

I gazed down at the floor.

Y/n: He's your brother, why did you do that to him?

I softly spoke. Silence filled the air.

Heeseung: I have my own reasons.

He simply answered. I had a feeling that something was going on behind those cold acts of his.

Mind: What is he hiding?
