I hope that this news will not get to Father; Foivi will not tell my Father what happened, so it is unnecessary to tell her not to let Father know. I have not had much contact with my Father after he sent me to the academy.

I have not had a lover since I would often decline suitors who planned to make a move on me. Alexios is righteous, a bachelor, and charming, which fits my preference in guys.

"Here's a tea for your hangover, it will also help you relax and focus throughout the day, My Lady," I did not notice that she left and came back until I heard her voice; it seems that I am really out of today's function because of what happened, "Thank you,"

After I had my tea, wondering what I should do next, someone knocked on my door, "I have a letter for the Lady," I heard Foivi and another servant conversing from afar, "A letter?" I voiced out as she walked towards me.

She handed me the letter and based on the wax stamp, it had the emblem of the House of Schleswig, "A mailman just bought it a short while ago," I took a deep breath as I observed the envelope, "Understood, bring me a paper, a pen and an envelope, also with a wax stamp to seal it," She nodded.

Looking at the back, it had my name, signifying that the letter was for me. A coat of arms of a shield with a cross and a laurel wreath around it. Even their name alone sounds mighty and glorious. The letter came with a pouch that weighed heavier than I ought it to be.

"You can take your rest, I will just ring another servant if I need something, I know that you didn't sleep well," I said to her, "That won't be necessary, My Lady. As your Abigail, I ought to serve you at anytime," I chuckled.

"I order you to take a rest," She took a deep breath; she knows that she had no choice, "Understood, please rest, My Lady, thank you." She soon left, leaving me alone in my chamber.

Ylury,

Dearest Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino,

This is Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig. How did you feel after I dropped you off? If I may say, you might still feel unwell, considering the amount of liquor you drank. I sent you tea leaves from the pouch that are the same as what you drank this morning. I heard from my attendant that it would bring you relief.

Forgive me for causing you discomfort on such a day. If you allow me, I would like to invite you to my Household formally at your convenient time. I will make sure to bring you ease as you dedicate your time with me. I saw you enter your residence earlier; it would be my delight to hear a reply from you.

Sincerely,

Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

It seems like the man is asking me out. I never thought that this man would be this pure in asking me to come over to his Household. Foivi soon entered, bringing the materials that I needed. As I sat and looked at the materials, my mind went blank, and I suddenly wondered what I would write.

--

Ylury,

To Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

I write to thee as I thank the heavens of blessing you-

--

No, that is so awkward. I immediately crumpled the paper the threw it.

--

Ylury,

To Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

Greetings! This is Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino. I was thinking about-

--

No, that seems too friendly for me; we only met recently, I cannot sound so friendly with him.

--

Ylury,

To Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

I warmly accept your invitation and thank you for inviting me-

--

No, this one, it sounds that I am too full of myself; I cannot project my image like that!

--

Ylury,

To Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

Hello, what are you doing? To this day, I am doing fine-

--

It seems too informal and rude! Since when did I lose my writing skills! Even the Nobles from other Household likes accepting letter that comes from me because of how well written it is. I groaned in frustration and looked to my side as the paper in front of me vanished.

Gazing down, there were crumples of paper everywhere. I wrote to anyone romantically that may be the reason why I am pondering over this letter. Moreover, I do not recall involving myself with that man romantically. I will be a substitute while he finds another Lady he can marry.

Just as I thought everything was going well, someone knocked again on my door, "Foivi, the door please," I ordered, "Foivi," I then remembered that I had sent her to rest, I stood up and answered the door myself, where another servant stood with a tray containing another letter.

It was another letter and a pouch. "A letter, My Lady," I nodded, "Thank you,"

Ylury,

Dearest Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino,

This is Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig. After sending you the letter, I became impatient and decided to send you another one. I hope that you have received my first letter well; I will hear a reply from you on your thoughts about the tea.

Moreover, I sent you another pouch containing the ointment. I must not have held back last night and this morning and noticed that you had a love bite at your neck; the Household's physician suggested that it would be an excellent remedy to it if you want to remove the mark. However, if I were you, I would not remove it.

I would love to see it on you once again, knowing that I held you once and marked you mine; it brings me joy and delight. Please be well and take care of your health.

Sincerely,

Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

I then looked at the mirror and saw a love bite on my neck; that is why Foivi must have misunderstood my situation and thought I must be lying because I was out of my dress and had a hickey on my neck.
