"No-" I took a deep breath, composing myself, "It is nothing."

"Are you perhaps thinking about me, you, or perhaps, about us?" I have no reason to lie about him, "We all need to seek love at some point- someday. If we are so fortunate, a love as pure as which Mother told me in bed," I explained to him.

"Love-huh? That means you are talking about us," He said as he took my hand in his and pressed our palms together. "Eva, maybe you are anxious about the impending engagement ceremony that is making you think that way."

"You do not have to worry I am all yours, and you are mine. No one would dare to separate us from each other. We will build a family and start one," He brought my hand near his face, kissing the tips of my fingers, "Alexios, do you want to have a family of your own?"

His face immediately brightened up, "Of course," He smiled, "What do you mean by a family?" I added, questioning the man.

"I want to build a family with children who looks like you and resembles me, I would still prefer them to look alot more similar to you," He averted his sight as he glowed with a tinge of scarlet on his cheeks, my face stoned as soon as I heard his statement, "Was it too soon for me to tell this?"

I smiled and took a deep breath. When it comes to these things, this man is too forthright, and he even questions me after telling me that it was too soon for him to inform me about his plans. This man does not know when to stop; he exceeds every limit.

This gentleman is suddenly talking about these things, and it is because of the concern I am displaying. "To tell you the truth, I did not want a child," He said, lowering his head and expressing pain and despair in his face. "However, seeing you has lost my perspective; I want you to always be by my side, Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino, forever and always"

"Even if we are someone our Houses despise, even if others say we are wrong, I will let them be, as long as you are with me, I do not mind being wrong," He kissed the back of my hand, "You do not have to worry about me, just live off me and stay by my side," He kissed the back of my hand.

"There are still uncertainties surrounding the both of us. Are you sure that I approached you with pure intention, what if I bought you harm?" I raised, "What if the House of Rabellino sent me that night to seduce you and take you to build influence? What if everything that I showed you was all a lie-" Before I could finish my statement, the man silenced my lips with a kiss.

"I do not like hearing such words from you," My gaze lowered, hiding a shameful expression, "If you claim yourself as what you said, should you be pestering me right now to immediately marry you at the earliest conviennce?"

"If you planned to bring me harm, you should have killed me on that cold night we met on the balcony, perhaps stabbing me because I was distracted by your kiss?" He continued suggesting scenarios, "I will not buy out your reason this time. I know that you are not satisfied with what we are right now. However, when you finally get my name, you can get whatever you want as long as it is within the House of Schleswig's reach,"

"Alexios- I..." I could not dare say any words after I heard his remark, "You yourself told me that you only approached me that night because of the alcohol's influence as soon as you woke up."

"Forgive me-" He said as he moved away from me, "For bringing up the idea of having a family must have caused you great anxiety. Do not worry, I will not force you; from now on, I will consult you on every decision I make." He took a deep breath and straightened his tie.

"I do not want to cause you anxiety; if you do not want to have a child, then so be it." He said to me as a smile formed across his lips, "However, I have the confidence to tell you that I can be a good father and a good husband,"

The Nobility was well aware of how terrible the relationship between the Elder Schleswig and his son was based on news circulating across town. His Father mistreated him after what happened to the death of his Mother.

Until his Father, with his heart of pride, he lived to assure that the great Schleswig name shall continue. The young Schleswig, on the other hand, took a different tact, vowing never to marry and sire an heir, boasting about how the Schleswig would die with him.

He did not want to be like his Father, thinking how he might mistreat his child because of the loss of a Lady he truly loved and dedicated his whole heart to, since having a child would also mean a responsibility to him.

The Noble was wary of introducing trauma into his child's life. "Alexios, do you want to have a child?" He had an obvious answer, but I still wanted to ask him the question, "My Father was brutal, and I do not want to be like him. My child, I do not want him to end up in the same situation as me—" He stopped halfway, his hands slithered on my waist, pulling me close.

"Even so, I cannot treat a kid you gave birth to with absolute displeasure; no matter how much hatred my Father brought me, he will not be the root for my demise," He kissed my forehead, "I love you so much, and if this is a dream, I pray no one wakes me up."

"And, what if I decide I do not want to have a child?" I queried, interrupting the pursuit as he shuddered for a moment before stabilizing himself, "That would be great for me as well, as long as I have you all to myself, I would be very much delighted."
