"What? Why? Nothing would happen dangerous inside the Residence!" I raised my voice, "Yes, My Lady, however, we have to ensure that you are safe in the premises of the Residence," One replied.
"I know, I understand. Even so, do you not trust me? Are you worried that I might run away or something?" As I said the words run away, they flinched and looked at the bag that I had in my hand, "My Lady, its just that your bag looks suspicious,"
I took a deep breath, "This is all for the sake of me, I might find something amusing that may work me out," I retorted, "I do not have time to roam around the Residence with my works piling up, and I thought it would be a great way for me to see what I haven't seen in the past years."
"Then, should we call someone to tour you around the Residence, perhaps the Master-Servant, he knows this place like the back of his hand," They suggested, with a nod, I agreed, "All right, you can call him, I'll wait here,"
As they all were about to move, several of the guards flinched, "No, we can't leave her alone," I stood shocked; I thought I would take this chance to escape; they would not be the guards of the House of Rabellino if it were not for nothing, "You three, guard her, don't forget what the consequence is if she gets even a scratch,"
Apparently, for the guards, Father and my Mother, and Older Brother threatened the guards if one of the family members got hurt, even if it was a slight scratch. A bush or an insect, none could harm them or might put their lives at risk.
Even so, before they could finish their conversation, I threw the bag off the walls and climbed up. "Lady Rabellino!" They all directed their attention to me, immediately following. "My Lady, please halt!" One of the guards continued.
I had no choice but to run away this time. I had been trained by several Governesses that excelled in several fields, and even in attacks and defense; I could say that I have passing marks that are my assurance that I can do well.
As I stood at the walls, they all had shocked and disrupted faces, "Lady Rabellino, please come down, it's dangerous, you might fall down," They flinched as I tried to go down on the other side, "No, My Lady. Men, catch her, she might fall!"
With an idea in mind, I pretended to be taken aback by their remarks, "How dare you try to touch me!" I voiced out, "Should I tell the Rabellino's that everyone tried to touch me?"
They took several steps back and hesitated to even look at me, "Lady Rabellino, please go down, slowly." They looked at each other and gave instructions, "Bring something, a ladder! Get a ladder!" Two of the guards ran back to the estate.
As they looked back, I took the chance to jump off the walls, carefully landing on the other side. I could hear their screams from the other side; I know that I am acting selfishly, I owe them an apology.
"Lady Rabellino!" I heard them screaming my name, "I'll be back later, do not worry!" I responded.
I should go to Augury Square and meet up with her; I do not know how long she must have been waiting there, rushing towards the said place, I saw a carriage and gave fare and told them to take me there.
Arriving, I saw Lady Vasilas standing beside a pillar, "Forgive me, you must've waited for so long," I apologized, panting, "I can tell why you are late, you ran away, I suppose,"
I returned an awkward smile and composed myself, "How did you manage to ran away with the tight security?" She questioned, "Looking at your elegant appearance, I doubt that you escaped by yourself," I nodded.
"I jumped over the walls, I may not look like it, yet, I grew up training with Governesses that excelled in these fields," The Lady laughed out, "Is that so? Then, without further ado, should we start our hang out?"
Even with Brother's constant warning, telling me to run away from the Lady and anyone connected to the House of Schleswig, deep within my mind, a part of me decides not to leave.
"Lady Rabellino? Is something wrong? Do you not want to?" Her words took me back to reality, instantly, I shook my head, "No, let's go,"
I was still in a daze as the Lady led me into a side infrastructure that seemed fancy; I had no choice but to stand behind her back. No matter how great she might be, she still ran away from the House of Vasila. I must not forget that she is still part of the Houses that rivals ours.
Sitting across at one of the couch, someone served us tea and other delectables, "I have just returned from one of the sites," She started, "You may wonder why I took on this path instead of continuing with what my House wants, however, not all paths are flowery,"
"I am enjoying this momentary peace and freedom that I took a risk on. I know that this will soon end once the House of Vasilas forcibly takes me back," She added, sipping tea, "I like the freedom that I have right now, even with eyes watching around, I can still do and go to places if I so desires."
Finishing up the tea that seemed to be for me, she pushed the cup nearer, "I like this teahouse, this is one of the rare jewels that I found in Ylury, their tea leaves are imported from other Lands," Slowly lifting the tea and sipping, I had doubts on whether it may have been poisoned. Still, I trusted her that nothing would go wrong, "Relax, I won't kill you, because before that happens, someone might kill me even before I could plan to," Her voice sent shivers down my spine; her domineering aura is really similar to Alexios.
