After Alexios' disappearance, the Lodge of the Schleswig's felt wider than usual, "Lady Rabellino, a letter," On a tray was a letter, it was something that I was familiar with, "Who is it from?" A smile slowly appeared on the servant's face.

"It is from the Noble Schleswig, Lady Rabellino," Lowering her head after, "What?" I stood up from the couch, immediately grabbing the paper.

--

Ylury,

Dearest Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino,

How have you been? What do you think of the Lodge without me? Do not hesitate to tell the Master-Servant what you like if you do not feel well. Feel free to use everything and do take care of yourself.

Sincerely,

Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

I turned around, flustered. Alexios is already gone, yet he still sends such notes. This man knows how to make my heart confused. He does know his way around women in making them feel doubt.

In every move I make, I would receive a letter, one after the other. As if it was already prepared for me, and all that was left was for me to read it. Even upon waking up, his notes made me feel like he was already back, and we were conversing.

--

Ylury,

Dearest Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino,

Eva, how have you been? I hope you are well; I wish for you to enjoy the days. I heard that you had taken a liking to books. I wish for you to go to the Library. I had a selection of books that I love, and it is for you to read.

Sincerely,

Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

Moreover, when I ate, I received another, every action I made, he had the letter to correspond. It made me feel warm; even the servants looked at me as I read the letter as if they were expecting what my reaction would be.

--

Ylury,

Dearest Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino,

I told the kitchen staff to pay attention to your meal and told them not to serve anything that would not appease your palate. I hope this food will make you feel warm and full.

Sincerely,

Noble Nikolaos Alexios Schleswig.

Furthermore, after weeks of waiting, he finally appeared in front of me, wearing an innocent face as a smile formed on his face, "I missed you, Eva," It was the first statement he said to me, "You never said that you were going home," Exactly it had been three weeks since he left.

It is not like I missed him, but I would be lying if I said I did not wholly miss him. "I haven't eaten dinner, would you like to join me?" I questioned, opening the doors towards the dining. "All right, let's go,"

The servants then poured wine as we feasted over meats and vegetables. "I thought you would leave me alone entirely," I said to him, slicing the slice of beef off my plate, "Why? Did you think that I will entirely leave you for the rest of your life? That would be unfair for me since I cared more about you rather than myself." He explained with the sound of injustice in his voice.

"No, I just expected that you would at least visit me, well, you were gone for the month and you didn't visit at least once," I retorted as he shook his head, "Not quite, I was afraid that if I dropped off from time to time, it's hard to control myself when I am near you, I might not return the moment I see your face," He said, sipping the wine.

"At least you received the letter, Eva," He smiled, continuing, "You should also know that it was pure tortune and agony for me, every second, minute, hour, day and week that I wasn't by your side." My forehead creased.

"What do you mean?" I questioned, "As I was gone, I realized something, at first, I thought that I was just interested to you because of the thrill. Thinking that what it would be if I were to date a Lady that my House totally disaproves and despises."

He then scoffed, "However, when we were apart, I knew for sure that I was headed in a path that I was not familiar with," Alexios continued, "I'm in love with you, I am sure of it," I froze as I cut out the meat.

I took a deep breath, composing myself. This was not something I usually hear; I had suitors and lovers in the past, but this was all too sudden; it was not something I hear every day. A declaration of love and to be this straightforward.

"Eva-" I cut him off before he could say anything, "No, stop talking, just stop," I placed my utensils at the side and faced him directly.

"Wait, let me finish," He continued, "No, hearing this from you- this feels..."

Why would he say something like this? Confessing as he got back, I could not help but be confused about how am I supposed to feel. This will lead not only me to a tragedy but also Alexios; he said it himself; he thought what it would be if I were to date a Lady that his House disapproves and despises.

Our Houses will again crash and eventually lead one to a bad ending; I will not control myself to feel anything if he continues to do this. We cannot do this; I also have to go back and put things the way they were before.

"Alexios-" He stood up and paved his way towards me, "I want to express my love to you, in different ways, in the way that you would love," He caressed my face and smiled at me.

My heart thumped as he leaned closer; if attractive were the word, Alexios would be it. A perfectly proportioned body, a smile that seemed innocent, "I can stare at you all day, Eva," He mumbled, kissing my temple, "It's natural to stare at things that you find beautiful,"

No one cares whether he is handsome or ugly; people only know him because they are scared of him; they either despise or adore him. His wealth, fortune, and power say everything about him.
