"First, to tell you the truth, what you will work is not that great, whether you like it or not, you will try do everything I ask of you," Nervousness started to build up in my stomach, "I will do my best, Lady Vasila,"

"As you said earlier, it wasn't your choice to enter the Bureau of Public Work, for every task you are responsible for, you must decide for yourself," She continued, "While you're with me, be sure to learn from your experiences. I'll show you how the Ladies also can do their job," She extended her hand, initiating a handshake. The Lady's stern expression soon changed into a gentle one.

It would be better for me to show them that I am also doing a good job. It will only be months of training; Brother will not leave me here until I grow old and grey, right? I trust him; besides, what could possibly go wrong in working here?

Soon after the orientation and meeting other administrators, I was officially Lady Vasila's mentee. "Should we have lunch together. You haven't ate, I suppose." She offered, "They will take care of any task that may be related for today's event."

We walked a few blocks to a restaurant called Nirvana. "This is my get away food bar where I can be at peace," She mumbled, chuckling, "You'll love the food here, I promise!"

It was a tranquil and peaceful restaurant that stood near the Bureau of Public Works. You may enjoy the view from here, which has excellent vistas of sites in completion. Everything was a feast of delectable cuisine, and the superb restaurant's charges were shockingly inexpensive.

As they served food, the Lady started to converse, "Tell me, what's your first impression of the job?" She questioned, slicing the meat for the both of us, "I can tell how difficult it may be to manage basing from the explanation on what we will do in the orientation,"

It was the Land's combination of physical assets, management strategies, regulations, and employees that are permitted to provide necessary and sufficient conditions and services critical to the welfare and level of quality of life of its citizens.

"And?" She asked as I shook my head, "I don't have any troubles other than that."

Everything appeared troublesome when it came to public works. Due to the general multi-faceted, ever-evolving nature of public works, I have problems determining what was rational for the task. I will never know what was genuinely suitable, but looking on the bright side, it all looked fitting to help others.

It will take forever to understand that if I take everything at once, the difficulty will also arise if I look at the opposition. Figuring out what I should do before taking on action would be more reasonable. It would all be normal to worry about such things.

"I am grateful for everyone's assistance; everyone was friendly and approachable, and you are my mentor; I can say that you are a great woman." I exclaimed as I ate a bite-sized piece of meat. "Of course, if you have any questions, I would be happy to entertain and answer them all; don't hesitate to ask; I will help you with everything that I am capable of."

My eyes widened, "Really?" I raised in shock. In return, the Lady chuckled and nodded, "Yes, I will help you as long as it is related to work. I would be glad to be of help."

I nodded, "Thank you very much, Lady-" Before I could finish my statement, someone appeared in front of us, banging his hands on the table. "Ninia Vasila." With only his words, I stood frozen in my seat as shivers ran down my spine.

"How dare you ran away from the Courthouse?" His scream could make my eardrums pop out if he raised his tone more, "And your reason? Is it because of this lowly job? I heard from them that you yourself quited your post from the Bureau of Military Affairs, you must be mad!" He laughed out evilly.

"You really thought that you could go unnoticed without me at Ylury. I have eyes everywhere." The Lady's hands formed into a fist, and soon, she stood up banging the table, "Lord Demeas!" She yelled, soon composing herself, showing a sweet smile on her lips.

"I know that the Count's fortune is overflowing, however, I did not know that you are sitting idly to send someone to watch my every move," She innocently retorted, "What-"The Lady caught him off guard.

"I trained myself to be a Dame, and if I quit before pronouncing me into one, I can decide for myself whether if I can quit or not, and my decision doesn't concern you!" She emphasized every word that came out from her small lips, "Ninia!" He called out her name.

I moved to the side to not interrupt their conversation, "The Right Honorable, Lord, Ioannis Demeas of Krubet," Lady Vasila addressed him formally, "You should know by now the reason of my constant avoidance, and it is all because of you!"

"What are you even saying? Do you know how much I given up because of you? I even went through a lot of things just be here right now!" He countered, raising his voice, "Why would you even avoid me in the first place?"

It seems like the Lady could not control her anger anymore; however, given that we are in a public space, she only took a deep breath, calming herself. Soon, her gaze darted to the Noble, who still had a confused expression plastered on his face.

"You are rather odd to not know the answer, Lord Demeas," Her voice seemed as if the world froze over, "Stop with this talk, you ruined my appetite," She stood and purposely bumped into him.

"Let's us go, Lady Rabellino," Her words made me flinch, taking me back into reality, "Oh, I understand," I stood up and walked behind her. However, as we were about to take a step further, I felt someone's hand on my wrist, gripping it tightly.
