The next day, I woke up unexpectedly only to see that it was an hour before our meeting today. "What of the Noble Schleswig?" I asked the Master-Servant who was watering the garden, "He left the estate earlier," He replied.

It might be unmannerly. However, I ran back up as the servants assisted me in taking a bath and changing into clothing. "The carriage has been prepared, Lady Rabellino," I stood up and prepared to leave, "Thank you,"

Soon arriving at the Courthouse where the Noble Lord would be, I heard bickering in the hallway that made me stop. As a child, I would continuously be lost around this place because of how big the space was. I hid behind the corner; it felt like if I passed by them, I might interrupt and get caught up in their problem.

"What do you mean, My Lord? Am I still not enough?" It sounded like a Lady begging, "My sincerest apologies, but I must say that I do not wish to see you no more, Lady Tocceli."

I peeked for a bit and saw two familiar faces; it was none other than Lord Ioannis Demeas and Lady Roxanni Tocceli. The talk around the Land that Lord Demeas of Krubet, the Count's nephew, came to visit his acquaintance together with his soon-to-be wife. I was not expecting to see them here arguing.

It was widely known that the Lord was a bachelor who played hearts of Ladies that he crossed paths with. Everyone thought that because he was engaged, the man would stop cheating and breaking hearts around the Lands; however, he became worse when he became engaged with the Lady Tocceli.

He often betrayed his lovers in the past; I should not see such a scene. The Lord Demeas said that he would not get tied up with a Lady since no one could suffice him; he thinks highly of himself since he was a Lord and not some ordinary Noble and that he was the Count's nephew.

The Ladies he had been with must have suffered so much; if I were in their place, I would straight-up ignore the man and give him slaps across his face. Not because he is born with high status does not mean that his behavior can be excused. Numerous Ladies continue to fall for him even if they know what the outcome would be.

Lady Tocceli had her eyes puffed from crying; she looked distressed and worn out. She should find another man who will treat and love her better than this nutjob. He will continuously cheat on her until he escapes the shackles of the engagement.

I feel frustrated listening to them; the Lady should at least learn to boost herself up in these situations. Right now, he has the highest ground between other Nobles. Even so, is my luck today that bad for me to be late and run into them at the worst possible scenario.

It is rude to eavesdrop on someone else's conversation, given that they are already fighting. "What do you mean, My Lord?" I could hear the shivers in her voice, "It is what I said, Lady Tocceli."

She fell to the floor, with her head lowered, "I do not want to be with you anymore, also I do not want to be involved with the House of Tocceli. I hope our relationship ends with this, you can have your way, Roxanni," He heartlessly continued, "Ending our relationship? I feel insulted, My Lord!" She raised her tone.

"You know what I mean, leave my sight if you do not want to get hurt," As she attempted to grab him by the hand, the Lord immediately flung her hand away, making her fall back to the ground, "You must have gone mad to touch me with your filthy hands!" He screamed.

"I want to live a life without indignity that my descendants may read in historical books, and if I continue to be with you and eventually marry you, I might end up and be labeled as a Lord who feel to mortification!" He dusted his clothes off where the Lady touched him. "Staying with a Lady from the House of Tocceli makes me feel remorseful and inadequate!"

The Noble did not stop yelling as the Lady's tears welled up from her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. I then snapped back to reality when I heard a loud thud coming from the scene. I will get caught up with them if they catch me listening to their conversation.

It is not my fault that they ended up like that, "Hey, Lady, I command you to stop!" I froze in shock. Did they find out that I listened to their conversation? "Who are you? State your name, the House you're from, and what may be your goal that you came here to eavesdrop on us?" No, he misunderstood me.

For now, I should run; picking up the gown, I ran before he could grab my arm. After a twist and turn with the endless curves of the Courthouse, I finally managed to escape the man. He was clearly talking about me, and I ignored him; adding to it, I ran away so he would really misunderstand my situation.

Now, I should find someone to lead me back to Alexios. I was officially lost once again inside the massive Courthouse. I then stumbled upon an open field where I saw guards training. I shyly walked towards them and spoke.

"Greetings, I am lost. Can you please tell me where I can find Noble Alexios Schleswig?" I questioned; they looked at each other as if I was a suspicious person, "Greetings, who you might be?" I cleared my throat and subtly curtsied.

"Oh, apologies! I am Lady Eva Maria Del Mar Rabellino," Their eyes soon widened, "Forgive us, Lady Rabellino, we didn't notice you, we will take you to Noble Schleswig, this instance!" Panic resonated in their voices, but they composed themselves and soon took me to Alexios with my soft chuckle.
