Scenario : You lose contact with the rest of your group, Bellamy and Raven, and soon after you are taken. Of course, your group is going to come and rescue you, right?
All you could hear was static.
Not like television static, that was so much more consistent. No, this static was worse.
The sound only reminded you that contact with Bellamy was impossible. Contact with anyone was impossible.
"Stupid piece of technology!" you yelled as you threw the communicator to the ground.
"Useless, isn't it?"
The deep voice came from behind you, and by the time you had turned around all that could be seen was a rock in his fist, which was coming down to your head.
Finally the static was gone.
TIME JUMP 12 HOURS
Your eyes fluttered open, assuming that they would need to adjust to the light, but there was none.
The cave you were in was dark, wet, gloomy. Full of insects and dripping water. The only source of light was a small hole in the rocks making up the barrier of a wall between you and the rest of the Earth.
How long has it been? 2 hours? A day? A few minutes?
Where were you? A new area? Across the country?
When did this happen?
Why did this happen?
Your questions were unable to be answered, your focus was only altered by the splitting headache coming from the left side of your head where the rock had met your skull.
Interestingly enough, there was no sign of any life being in the cave other than you. No tall man, no voices, no trace of anyone or anything.
Standing up was difficult, but not impossible. As you stood up, holding the rock wall behind you for support, you squinted your eyes to try and see further out of the hole in front of you. You staggered forward to get a better look until your hands were prying the rock away from the structure. Pulling away pebbles just as well as what felt like boulders. The hold in the wall was now a massive opening, big enough for you to get through.
You put one leg over the side, swinging and stretching to see if the ground was reachable. Unfortunately it was not.
Instead of letting this stop you, you took a look down to see if it was possible to jump to the ground, and it was.
You dangled both legs out of the opening, and went to push yourself over the ledge. The momentum was there, the force was there, the gravity was there, everything that should have allowed a quick, easy, and relatively harmless escape was all in place. It would be normal to assume that you would be able to make it back to camp after reconnecting with your group, you wouldn't even have to tell them what had happened.
Except that ending would be too simple.
Raven's scream echoed through the trees once your feet hit the grass. A safe and easy drop still did not prevent your legs from buckling underneath you. The headache bolted through your temple when her scream reached your ears.
Your legs moved faster than your thoughts, and before you could process anything you were already running towards her yells. They continued to get louder, and finally after passing one tree after another, you came upon a small opening in the greenery.
The same man was there, except Raven wasn't anywhere to be found. He held your communication device in his hands, replaying her screams on nothing but an audio tape.
"Thought you were gonna save a friend?"
You took a few steps back.
"Do you know where you are? This is not your territory anymore, and I am almost certain that you couldn't point to which way your camp is. Could you? Could you point to home for me? Where is it? Where are your friends going to come from?"
Your feet kept taking backwards steps until your back hit a tree.
"Interesting. I'll do it for you. Your camp is that way. I've been watching it for weeks."
The man pointed to the right of you, and as soon as you went to take off in a sprint he had already grabbed your arm, pulling you into him.
"Ah ah ah, not so fast."
His words made your stomach turn as you jerked in his grasp. He was strong, no movement would let you out of his arms. You began to give up, falling limp and deciding that this fate wasn't terrible. You fought, right? You tried, right?
Then static again.
You looked around, and so did the man behind you. Before either of you could find the source, Raven and Bellamy made themselves known. Holding their communication devices up in the air, Raven turned them off and proceeded to make dead eye contact with the man holding you.
"Did you not think I would notice my own scream being used as manipulation?"
Bellamy's eyes were filled with fear, whether it was for himself or for you, you weren't sure.
The man's hand went to his pocket, pulling out a knife to hold against your throat.
"They have to ruin our fun early, too bad it leads to the same outcome. Either of you take a step forward and she's gone."
Bellamy's feet were already moving, and you felt the cold blade press into your skin.
"Did you think I was joking? How much farther do you think she can go, how much more do you think she can withstand?"
The tip of the blade dragged across your cheek, bringing bright red blood to the surface.
You let out a small whimper, then a scream as he plunged the knife into your side.
You fell to the ground as the man ran, the only thought you could come up with was "coward."
Raven and Bellamy ran to you, and as you laid on your side you felt Bellamy's strong hand grab yours, the other one pressing to the knife wound in your side.
"No, no not like this. You can't go like this Y/N."
Raven used her communication device to contact Clarke, who was now on her way to where your group was.
"Bellamy, where are we at?"
He shook his head as the blood spread through your shirt, his hand wasn't enough to stop the bleeding.
"Earth, your favorite place on Earth."
You coughed and trembled as he removed his jacket, putting it over your upper half as well as pressuring it onto your wound.
"Liar."
Bellamy gave you a small smile as tears filled his eyes.
"Y/N we can go, we can go to your favorite place on Earth. We can do whatever you want. Please just fight to live, fight for me."
You smiled at his suggestions, unable to think of any better place to be than where you are right now.
With Bellamy.
"My fight is over, Bellamy."
You felt his lips on your forehead, and right before they touched your lips...
there it was again.
Static.
