Sick Lover // Bellamy Blake

This was a request that I'm super excited to write!

Concept : Y/N finds out her boyfriend Bellamy is sick, and decides to take care of him until he feels better
(Takes place in season one, before the grounder fight)

Bellamy sluggishly walked into camp, holding the few rabbits he had managed to hunt down. He used his free hand to wipe the sweat off his forehead, then shivered as he felt the skin on his arms erupt with cold chills.

Luckily, his girlfriend Y/N was waiting for him at the gate.

She ran up to him, holding her hands out to grab a few of the rabbits.

"Hey love, I'll take these to Murphy to have them cooked up for all of us..." she paused her sentence as she looked up at Bellamy.

"Oh my god Bellamy you look terrible!"

He laughed lightly at the comment.

"I've gotten worse compliments sweetheart, I think I'm gonna go lay down for a while, nothing a few hours of sleep can't fix, and I can't feel this groggy when we're about to start a war."

Y/N placed her hand on Bellamy's shoulder as he tried to walk off.

"Let me take you to Clarke and see what's going on, okay? We aren't going to make a move until Raven finishes that bomb up anyways."

Bellamy nodded, and placed his hand in hers and she led her to the medical tent.

As always, there were a few people in there, along with Clarke.

She noticed the two of them walking in, and ran up to help Y/N with Bellamy, who was now slouched over her, trying to walk while she supported his weight.

Clarke helped her lay him into a cot, then proceeded to ask a few questions.

"Has he been in contact with any weird plants? Has he cut himself anywhere? Any open wounds? Contact with anyone sick? Have you been sick?"

The answer to every question was the same.

No.

"Alright then, one more question. Has he had anything new to eat? Besides meat. Maybe a foreign plant, or maybe some berries."

Y/N looked down at Bellamy.

"What do you eat during your hunting trips Bell?"

Bellamy looked up, leaning his head back and letting out a loud sigh.

"Normally I eat a few packs of nuts that came off the ship, but today I ate like three berries off of a bush."

Clarke placed her hand against his head, looking for a fever.

"We're they dark red, shiny, a stem holds three of them?"

Bellamy nodded.

"That's no big deal then, those are called out-berries, they make your brain try to do anything to get you to go out, or asleep. I would go easy on work for a few days though, rest a lot. I'm sure Y/N won't have a problem with taking care of you for a little bit."

Y/N nodded and leaned down to kiss Bellamy's head.

"I wouldn't want to take care of anyone else."

Clarke started to walk out of the tent.

"I'll leave you two be then, I'll be back in the morning."

As Clarke left, Y/N climbed into the cot with Bellamy.

"W-what are you doing princess?"

"Helping you fall asleep. She told me to take care of you, this is how I'm gonna do it."

Bellamy cuddled into her and pulled her close.

Y/N ran one of her hands through Bellamy's hair, being careful not to pull to hard, while the other hand rubbed his back, drawing shapes and writing letters in his skin.

After a few minutes she started to dose off.

"Princess?"

"Yes Bell?"

"I'm really thirsty, could I please have a bottle of water?"

"Yes."

Y/N gently got up off of the cot, and walked to the front of the med tent where Clarke kept the water. She grabbed one for Bellamy and one for herself, then started to walk back.

"Sit up so you can have a dri-"

Before she was even able to finish her sentence, Bellamy's snores filled the room.

Instead of waking him up to give him a drink, she carefully found her place next to him again.

He shifted slightly, still snoring, ands when he finally settled down, Y/N was holding him against her chest.

"I know you can't hear me but..."

She waited for Bellamy to finish snoring.

"I love you Bell."
