Aspirations
Chapter 35You turned when you heard your name. A tall and broad teenager was waving at you. You waved back out of instinct as they jogged up to you. You recognized the teen from the time you'd been at the school but couldn't put your finger on their name exactly. You knew that while he wasn't in Aizawa's class that they must have interacted frequently. Or maybe it was him and President Mic?
"Hey, have you seen Professor Aizawa anywhere?" The boy asked.
M something...
Miracle? No that didn't seem right.
"Not since the end of December," you told him honestly. "I know that President Mic talked to him last night if that helps."
"It sure does, thanks!"
The muscular teenager was off, practically jogging.
"What did they feed him?!" You whispered to yourself as you watched him go.
Maybe you just went to a whimsy high school or something but you didn't remember there being boys that big and thick with muscle when you went. It hadn't even been that long ago. Then again you hadn't gone to U.A so that might be why. If it wasn't for the obvious baby face, you could kind of see why your great aunt suggested dating a senior....
You shook your head and wrinkled your nose. Bad thoughts were bad.
As you continued on your way to help out class 1B, you realized what had just happened. A student you didn't really know (you were pretty sure he was a senior...you hoped he was a senior...) had come up to you asking where Aizawa was. How did that even make sense? Why would he assume you might have known where Aizawa was?

You needed caffeine.
Tiredly you trudged back to the dorms. Once you got there the best you'd been able to do was make it to the couch. Something about today had just sapped all your energy. It wasn't that helping with the classes was any harder than usual. Nor were you lacking in sleep at the start of the day.
But man were you tired.
"You look tired."
Without opening your eyes as you curled up on one cushion of the large couch, you replied. "Thank you Captain Obvious."
"It's Shouto. I have no military affiliation."
Now you opened one eye to stare at him. "It's an expression, Todoroki."
"Oh."
"It means that you have stated the obvious," you said right before you yawned. "Not the politest thing to say. Sorry. Just really tired today."
Candy Cane nodded.
He sat next to you. Boy radiated heat like there was no tomorrow too. You were tempted to curl up next to him and fall asleep. Of course as you were a "teacher", you refrained. Sadly. You were not responsible for your actions when you fell asleep, however. Considering the fact that he could have chosen anywhere to sit and he was radiating more heat than usual, it was almost like he'd been asking to get sleepy cuddles.
Todoroki just stared down at you from the corner of his eye every once in a while as he read through his textbook. Your body weight against his side felt comforting. In the rare moments that his father had let him rest when he was young, he used to cuddle into his mother's side similar to what you were doing now. He felt comfortable this way too.
