As the door opened quickly you braced for an impact that never came. Hawks had quickly spun you out of the way, holding onto your waist and a shoulder, so that when the door opened no one rammed into you. Considering that it happened in the blink of an eye the speed at which you were turned about was dizzying.

"I am here!"

You looked, surprised as Toshinori came in through the door, holding his expanded form just long enough to be seen. Then the man condensed back into the frailer version. You noticed that there was no blood or expression of pain on his face; it was odd how comforting that was. From behind him you could see Todoroki - and from the little you could make out he didn't seem happy.

From the frost rising up from his fist it kind of looked like he'd been about to deep freeze someone but held it back at the last moment.

"Hey hey hey! What are you doing in here?" Toshinori asked, his gaunt face expressed in a frown.

"I came to see my girlfriend," Hawks replied from behind you, back towards the wall.

You felt his hand leave your shoulder even though his elbow rested in it next. Hawks reached in between you and him for the lanyard he currently wore around his neck, showing off a visitor pass to the campus. With all of the security they had to amp up for the school you couldn't imagine that had been easy to get. Did he get that when he went to speak with Nezu? No...not possible. That had been before the Nabu island incident. He hadn't even asked you out until days after that. Unless he got it for another reason and the days just happened to line up...but even that seemed way too big of a coincidence.

"I was picking her up for our date but you know how things go," he trailed off with a smile; it was so prevalent you could hear it in his voice.

"I was sleeping," you said as you tried to push your heel into his toes, only for him to dodge your feet each time you tried.

Hawks dropped the visitor pass so that it hung over you. At least for as long as it took for him to put an arm around your shoulder and stand beside you instead of behind you. Tingles ran up and down your spine at the very personal, practically intimate, manhandling. While your independence rallied against it...your body was all for it. He was really cute after all and he smelled amazing. Like fresh air and something rich, deep, yet clean. Being so close without prepping your mind for work before was seriously remaking havoc in your brain. Enough so that you gave up on trying to crush his feet when you felt him swirling some fingers on your arm in the most casual yet goosebump raising fashion ever.

"Right until you were calling out my name," his laughing tone continued.

Red - you were pretty sure your face was as red as his wings now. You really wanted to turn what he just said back around in him but under the scrutiny of Toshinori and in the presence of a student (Todoroki), you couldn't think of an appropriate thing to say. Most of your thoughts were focused on trying to keep still - to not shiver as you felt him shift his hand to move down towards your hip. The rest of your thoughts were somewhere between lewd and violent.

In equal parts of what was left of your brain you wanted to bite him...each part a different kind of bite wanting a different result. So wisely you just held your tongue. Instead you desired to get revenge. Seeing as how all the quick movement had raised a side of your shirt up, you used that to your advantage. You snuck your tendrils around, creeped them up and reached for him at the base of his wings. Your intent had been to tickle the daylights out of him but that wasn't the exact result you'd gotten.

Hawks pulled you in front of him, arms hanging around your neck in a crossed fashion, in order to cover the proof that he was indeed ticklish at the base of his wings. Your tendrils waved in the air for a moment, glinting in the light from the hallway, as you went stiff as a board. He was ticklish all right and on the way towards saluting in his pants because of that.
