The GiGi's Playhouse Teen-tastic group and the GiGi's Junior Board created a float for the Roswell Youth Day Parade. The theme of the parade was "Stronger Together." The GiGi's float exhibited "feats of strength" in recognition and support for Down Syndrome Awareness Month. On the day of the parade, float riders distributed bags of candy to all of the well wishers along the route. The strong message of acceptance represented by the GiGi's float and float riders was celebrated as the GiGi's float WON the award for its category for the 2nd year in a row! The Junior Board had a great time participating in this event with GiGi's Playhouse Teen-tastics!
