I received the Carol D. Reiser Youth Service Award form the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta for my Lending Library project at GiGi's Playhouse. I attended their holiday luncheon and was awarded $1,500 for GiGi's Playhouse and $500 for my efforts. Howie Rosenberg, the Executive Director at GiGi's attended the luncheon with me and was there when I accepted the award.
I was honored to receive such an honor because I was chosen from more than 125 applicants! I am so excited that others can see the impact that my project has had on the community! Big thanks to the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta!!
