I am the President Elect of the Play Unified club at my school. Its goal is to partner with organizations to help people with disabilities. I saw on social media the need for delivery of essential goods to an organization that serves the blind and visually impaired so I reached out to my club to see if we could help. We decided to partner with this nonprofit organization called Living Life Team, Inc. to help to pull together the items needed for care packages of essential goods. Living Life Team serves as a support system to help the blind and visually impaired to live independent lives. Many of the people that they support are having significant difficulty leaving their homes due to the coronavirus and have been relying on others to make deliveries of essential goods to them. We gathered and delivered about 100 items such as canned foods, cleaning supplies, paper goods, cereal, etc. They were very appreciative of our help!
