Since I won the Local Hero Award for my Girl Scout Project from the Atlanta United Soccer Team, I was able to connect with the Unified team for Atlanta United. The Atlanta United Unified team consists with people with and without disabilities that practice and play games at the Atlanta United practice field and is run by the Community Relations Department for Atlanta United FC.I helped out at a game by being a ballperson and assisting with game setup. It was so much fun! I am hoping that I can get the Play Unified club at Westminster involved with this team also! Thanks so much to Shelsey for reaching out to me to get me involved with the team!
