Logan (help us lorde)
---------------------------------------------
I did exactly what Telly asked me to do. To leave her alone. And I was getting pretty good at doing it. I almost had enough time to push her out of my brain.

And even though she told me that she didn't care what I did with Jessa, that still didn't give me permission to do whatever. And that was a problem. I was getting lonely again and I just really wanted nothing but love. Especially from Telly.

But I couldn't have her so I took the next best thing. Which honestly wasn't very good. It didn't matter though I guess.

"You are a terrible person Logan Lerman." Her voice echoed in my head again. It was like a broken record on loop. She was always ringing in my ears. And when she stopped I didn't think anything of it.

But I knew something was wrong. If everything was okay, she wouldn't have called me. My phone screen lit up extremely bright with her name flashing across the screen. I wanted to decline her and respect her wishes like she wanted me too. What if this was a test? To see if I could go through with it.

I couldn't risk it though. I hit answer and bit my lip. "Telly. Is everything okay?" I sat up on my bed and searched for a shirt and pair of pants.

"Yeah everything's fine." She was drowned out by the sound of wind from the background. And even though she said she's fine, she's clearly not. For one thing, she slurred her words oh so slightly. And another is that she sounded innocent. Too innocent.

"Where are you?" I shoved my feet in a pair of Nike sandals and grabbed my keys and ran out of my house starting my Range Rover.

"I'm on top of the Hard Rock Café." She said it like it was no big deal. I started my car immediately and sped out of my driveway making my way downtown. "It's kind of windy up here." I could picture her hair swirling around her face getting tangled within itself. There was probably a bottle of some alcohol in one hand and her phone in the other.

"Jesus Chantel are you trying to kill yourself."

"No. I just really like the view. Everything's so small from up here." Her voice slid up and octave. "Are you coming to join me?"

"Don't hang up Telly." I blazed through every red light trying my absolute hardest to get to her. She was drunk. She wasn't that heavy so it would only take one good slap from the wind before she fell off the building.

"You should see the lights. They're so pretty. No one ever thinks of Seattle as pretty. Right Logan?"

"Umm I guess." I heard her giggle. My chest tightened at the thought of her feet dangling over the edge. I couldn't bare the thought of losing her. "How did you get up to the roof?" I needed to retrace her steps for this rescue mission. Maybe I would need back up.

"Oh. I took the elevator to the top. And then the stairs to the roof." I tried finding a spot in the parking garage. When I was successful, I threw myself out of the car and rushed inside following her instructions. "How come we never go here? All the people are so different. I like that."

"You weren't ever a girl for Hard Rock music or for American cafés." I tried joking with her. The elevator couldn't go any slower. The red numbers ticked on one by one until I reached the stop. I practically threw myself out of the doors and took the steps two at a time to destination Telly.
