Telly (uh oh)
---------------------------------------------
I sat on my bed twisted in between my bed sheets bored out of my mind. My hair was still wet and wavy from my shower. I knew it wasn't Remie's fault and I owed her an apology big time. I just wasn't ready for that yet. I wasn't ready to face her. Even though it was simple because she was right next door. Let's just say that both her and Jase really love each other. Or they just like sex but hey at least they know what they want.
Anyway it was Friday night and I had absolutely no plans. I was forced to listen to Jase and Remie get it on for the third time tonight on the other side of the wall. It wasn't any fun when you have no plans on Friday night. I've already watched every movie I own at least 5 times and I was getting sick of staring out the rain streaked window.
I wanted to do something different like get drunk and go on the roof of the Hard Rock again. Then maybe I could have the confidence to tell Logan how I really felt and express how angry and upset I am with him. But maybe I'm not even mad. Maybe its just my hurting.
I was pulled by my thoughts when my phone chimed. I honestly wondered who that possibly could be. Even if it was a stalker I could at least turn up with her/him. I unlocked my screen and read the small grey bubble.
unknown: hey telly its me riley. call me maybe??
"Why would Riley text me now?" I asked myself but shrugged and proceeded in calling him anyway. My fingers tapped along the circles on the keypad. It ringed about 3 times before he actually picked up.
"Hey Telly." He answered casually like we were old friends... technically we were if you really thought about it.
"Hello Riley."
"So I never really got a chance to check on you after you and Mason broke up. I'm usually the one to clean up all his messes anyway."
"Oh that's okay. I'm fine. Thanks for asking." I lied about me being fine but I was determined that I would be better soon enough.
"Anyway I was just wondering if you had any plans tonight?" His voice was raspy and I never realized how attractive he sounded. But then again I took one glance at him and never really thought about him.
"No I don't have any plans. I'm just gonna be here staring at my wall all night." I ran my thumb over my cuticles and immediately decided to get a manicure with Remie once I apologize. "Why?"
"Well I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight. All of my friends abandoned me. Oh this isn't a date. I just wanted to get to know you. Be friends. You know that kinda thing." I could picture him shrugging.
"Oh well, I'd love to go out. What did you have in mind." I pushed myself from my bed and sprinted into my closet taking in the vast selection.
"I think there's a rave going on downtown. I'm not really into parties like that but it beats being kicked out of my own house."
"Why are you kicked out?"
"Ridley's girlfriend is spending the night and that's a touchy subject in my family. We don't believe that homosexuality should be okay but I honestly don't care. Its my sister and if she's happy then I'm happy."
"That's sweet."
"If you didn't wanna rave I have tickets to see Wicked at The Paramount Theater at 8. We can make it if we book. I know its really late notice and you probably don't feel like going."
"I would love to go."
"Okay. So should I pick you up or should we meet up or something. How did you wanna do this?"
