"Please Telly. Please please please." Remie pulled on my arm begging for me to tag along on their double date.

I shook my head no. "I don't want to be a 5th wheel." I crossed my arms over my chest and stamped my foot. Jase,Jessa,Logan and her were going to the movies and I wanted nothing to do with it. Jessa might still be pissed at me and Logan and I haven't talked in a while.

"Just call up Moose." She already started throwing clothes at me. I laid them down on the many shelves carefully.

"How many times do I have to tell you that he's playing tonight?"

"He's really gonna be playing at midnight?" She looked at me like I was stupid. "After he's done shredding he takes like a three hour nap."

"Even the more reason why he wouldn't want to go."

"Telly, darling. He's gonna have enough time to sleep it off before wanting to see whatever it is that we're seeing."

"Wait hold up you want me to go to a movie with our dysfunctional family and you don't know what it is that we're seeing?"

"Logan told Jessa. But I'm neither Logan nor Jessa." She smiled weakly. "At any rate you should come with us."

"I really don't want to. I don't want to have a front row seat to all of my friends making out." I scoffed because I had enough of that in my face with just Rem and Jase alone. It would be twice as bad with Jess and L in the mix.

"Well then, you won't have to see us making out if you're already making out with Moose."

"I really don't want Logan to cut his tongue off."

"And I don't want you to not go. Please just come on with us. It's only gonna be me Jase, Jess and Log."

"That's the problem. It's only gonna be Jessa and Logan. Logan and Jessa. It's only gonna be them. It's not like its the queen that no one knew about and the person that likes to act as if nothing happened between us two."

"Telly-"

"It's only gonna be a painful reminder that you are nothing to the both of them. It's only gonna be the two that I love with all my heart, neglect me. It's only gonna be my best friends sister and my other best friends ex-boyfriend. It's not like they have kids right. They're only sleeping together. It can't be that bad." I sank down into a chaise next to a rack of scarves.

"Chantel. You shouldn't feel this way. You have Mason and-"

"Yeah I have Mason and Grey and Ridley and Riley. I can never have one thing to myself."

"He loves you though."

"Don't you get it Remie. This is his way of trying to escape from my hold. I was only a summer fling. And now that summer is almost over, he wants to get away. It's over."

'That's not true." She sat down next to me and pushed my hair out of my face. "None of that is true. About him not loving you any longer."

"Yes it is Remie. He won't pick up when I call. He won't text me. The last time we talked was his birthday and that was a week and a half ago." Tears threatened to spill over. "I'm just so damn tired of everything."

"Come to the movies with us." Remie said calmly. The truth was that I really wanted to go. I needed to get out of my house. I wanted to leave this gloomy state of Washington. I wanted to leave everything behind and meet new people. She sat next to me and held my hand.

"Why should I?"

"Because its our family. " Which was true. We were one big inoperable family. And why were we brought together? Because we were all absolutely crazy. "And we all love each other regardless of what anyone says."
