Telly (uh oh)

"Come on pick up." My phone was wedged deeply in between my ear and shoulder as I tried calling Emmett for the 3rd time within the past day. I would be damned before I asked Shai for help and I knew he had been around a lot. Emmett had connections with a lot of different people and could possibly help me with operation move across the country. A fifth ring went by before I decided to give up, but then the line was picked up.

"Emmett's phone." A woman chirped on the other end as if she was happy to receive an impromptu phone call. Her voice was light and airy and I had to guess that maybe just maybe Emmett had finally gotten a girlfriend even after he vowed never to date. "You've got Lana."

"Hi Lana. Um, I'm Emmett's sister, Telly. Can I talk to him?" I bit my lip seriously hoping that he was in a good mood and wasn't in the middle of something with Lana.

"No problem sugar. Lucky for you, he's right here." Then there was some fiddling around before the sound of his voice filled my ears and made me relax.

"Telly what's up kid?"

"I need your help. I know this is going to sound absolutely crazy but I really need to talk to you. Do you have time?"

"Yeah I've got time. What's up? How's that guy Moose?"

"I couldn't tell you. We broke up a while ago."

"Is it Jase?"

"Yes and no. I need to give you a quick history lesson to bring you up to date."

"I already aced my history class and wrote a kick ass essay on the French Revolution but proceed."

"Okay so recently we, and by we I mean Logan, Remie, and I just found out that Jase wasn't an only child and had a twin sister. Her name is Jessa."

"So where was she the past 12 years."

"Somewhere in California. Anyway so like she and Logan had been becoming really close and stuff but like yeah. It's a complicated love triangle unfortunately. But last night, Jase called me telling me to get to the hospital stat. So I go and I found out that Jess and Logan were drinking and then they were fighting. Then she left and got into a car accident."

"Wait why were they fighting?"

"Me. So then Jase, Remie, Logan and I had a very heated sit down and Jase doesn't want us here anymore. So because he's right about everything he said, Logan and I are trying to get away from here and go to Manhattan. Can you help us with a place to stay?"

"You are so lucky that you are my favourite sister and that I love you." He grunted and sighed out.

"I know. I'm sorry Emmett it's just this and then that might be it."

"You are also lucky that I happened to be living in a penthouse here with Lana. You are also so lucky that this penthouse happens to have more room for others."

"Are you serious right now?"

"As a heart attack. You know I would help you with anything right?"

"Well I know that now."

"I'll even buy your plane tickets. You don't need a car in New York."

"But I love my car. But then again it should only be for the rest of the summer." I shrugged. "Em, you don't have to."

"But I want to. Telly you and I are brother and sister and this is what brothers do for their sisters. If I ever needed help concerning Lana and I's relationship you would help me."
