PART 1: THE DIVERGENT SPIRITS

Nayeli's POV

Another day of school, done! I flopped down on my bed as I just want to sleep for a while. But then, the door opened and Olivia came running in and jumped on my bed.

"Ellie! Can you tie my shoes?!" She cried.

"Sure." I mumbled as I sat up and tie her shoes. "I'm surprised you haven't learned yet."

"I forgot how to." Olivia sighed softly.

"I bet." I chuckled as I finished and set her down on the floor.

"Thank you!" She yelled before running out of the room.

After she left, I flopped back down and went to sleep for a while. I just wanna sleep for a while.

But for some reason, I had a strange dream that it's blurry. So blurry that I can't see as I felt some strange tingles going all over my body. Then, the dream was over which made me jump up. The fuck was that?

"Ellie!" I looked over to see Maricela standing at my doorway of my room.

"Yeah?" I asked as I rub my eyes.

"Seth's here. Come on, let's watch a movie together." Maci said as she basically drags me out of bed and we went to the living room where Seth is relaxing on the couch.

"Hey, Ellie." He smiled as he walks over and hugs me tightly.

"Hey, Seth. How's UCLA?" I asked.

"Great. How's your new life in San Bernardino?" He asked.

"It's actually nice here." I chuckled as I turn on the movie which it's Paranormal Activity.

"I had the strangest dream ever." I spoke as we were in the middle of the movie.

"What it is?" Maci asked.

"Don't.... don't even remember," I sighed as I leaned against the couch and decided to go back to sleep while listening to "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy.

TIME SKIP

I woke up to a very bright light and noticing that I'm laying on the hospital bed. Okay, how did I get here?

"Nayeli?" I looked to my right and saw Maricela looking at me as Seth is just waking up.

"Hello, are you three okay?" A tall blonde woman asked us.

"Yeah, w-what the fuck happened? How did we get here?" Seth asked.

"Johana here found you three unconscious as you appeared out of nowhere, certainty from beyond the fence." the woman continued.

"What?!" We all yelled out. The last thing we remember is being at home, watching a movie.

"Can you tell us your name?" the motherly figure known as Johana politely asked us.

"Nayeli Unlay."

"Seth Unlay."

"Maricela Unlay."

"And where have you come from?" the man in gray asked us.

"San Bernardino, California." Seth spoke.

"What do you remember?" the woman asked.

"We were at home, watching a movie when we all fell asleep and suddenly, we woke up here." Seth explained.

"Who are you guys?" Maricela asked.

"Jeanie, Leader of Erudite."

"Erudite? The hell?" I asked, getting more confused.

"Erudite, faction of knowledge." The Asian man told us.

"I'm Johana, leader of Amity."

"Marcus, one of the leaders of Abnegation."

"I am Jack Kang, leader of Candor."

"And I'm Max, one of the leaders of Dauntless."

"Nice to meet you all and thank you for helping us. But we're still confused on the whole faction thing." Maci spoke.

"It's no problem, though now we must find out what to do with you three. We can't send you back out and you can't stay in the hospital forever." Jeanie said as she hands me a book. "Read this and I will be back later with an Aptitude test. Choosing Day is next week and you can choose with them then."

"Choosing Day?" Seth asked.

"The day you decide which faction you will join for the rest of you....that or go factionless." Jack said with an automatic honest tone.

"How old are you three anyway?" Marcus asked.

"Nayeli and I are twins so we're sixteen and Seth here is eighteen" Maricela told him.

"Normally, it's sixteen on your choosing day but we can make amends with your brother since he's a special situation. We'll see you three next week." Marcus said before everyone leaves and we read the book to understand this futuristic yet shitty world.

THIRD PERSON POV

Jeanine came back with a small machine to test the siblings. After testing them one by one, all their results came back as having all five factions; Divergent. With something unusual. Jeanie told them a lie, saying they're all Dauntless.

After she left, she did her research and discover that the three is tied to an ancient legend that has die out hundreds of years ago; possessing a power to the Natives. Jeanine decided to spar them as she needs them to stay alive for her experiments. She wasn't gonna let these precious Outsiders be killed under her watch and Max's watch as he agreed to watch them for a while.

They were the answers to finally end the Divergents and get the peace back....
