ONE WEEK LATER
Maricela's POV
Jeanie came to get us when Choosing Day arrives. I never thought to start my new life in this new world in the future. We went to the building where the ceremony would be held at where we meet up with Marcus, Johana, Jack, and Max. As we arrive, I never thought to see a bunch of people here from all five factions but here we are.... the oddballs from the Outside world as they called it.
Marcus quiets everyone down and the ceremony went on as I pretty much listening to music on my phone which it's still here along with my headphones and chargers. I love my baby so much so I was so blessed that it is here with me. Every teenager choose either their old faction or transfer to a new one. Once that was done, Jeanine walks up stage as Marcus said, "One moment." Everyone sat back down.
"Last week, a boy and two girls came from outside the fence and was found in Amity; lack of food and water with no memory of how they got there or where. We believe they're apart of a small group of survivors on the outside. We took them in, helped them get better, and decided to give them a chance of a new life in our city." Cheers and whispers filled the room as Jeanine motions us to come on stage which we did.
