Leah's POV
I released the two drone-like discs in the air in front of them, somehow shielding them from the bullets that were being fired at them just seconds ago. From the looks on the guard's face, they were just as confused as Emily and her friends were.
"What are you waiting for? Shoot!" One of the guard orders.
Just as they raised their guns, getting ready to start firing at them again, we begin firing at them, shooting at guards and watched as their bodies fell lifelessly onto the ground.
"Momma!" Olivia came running towards Emily who grabs her and held onto her tightly.
"Leah?" Emily asked as I walk over to her.
"Hey, Emily." I smiled at her.
"We need to hurry. They'll be releasing the serum anything, we have to find Evelyn." Tris says from behind.
"Where's Seth, Ellie, and Maci?" Emily asked.
"They were right behind us!" Tobias cried as he notice they have disappeared.
"There's some sort of vault that contained all sorts serum, it's where they're heading." Harrison informed them.
"Will, Lynn, the both of you get them to the infirmary. You know how to get the bullets, right?" Tobias asked Lynn.
"You want me to remove the bullets?" Lynn scoffs, "You're kidding, right? The was one first-aid class, Tobias."
"Zeke, buddy. Can you guide her?" He asks, clapping a hand gently on Zeke's shoulder.
Zeke nods weakly in reply, "Don't worry about us, go do what you have to do."
"We'll go with you. Just... get to my kids before they do something really stupid." Emily spoke as she took Olivia's hand.
"We will. Stay safe guys."
Maci's POV
"Initialize serum vaporization." We heard an automated voice spoke. Where is Evelyn at?
"Guys! They've just initiated the serum." Caleb's voice sounded through our earpieces.
"We know." Tris answers into the mic, "Have you found a way to shut it off yet?"
"No, not yet." Molly sighs.
"Hey, over here!" Seth points as we followed him down the hallway.
We finally found the glass panel and spotted her along with Ray.
"It's locked." I spoke into the mic before Seth begins banging at the door yelling, "Evelyn! You have to stop this right now!" Catching her attention.
I...I don't want to do this, but I have to." She replies, "I'm the only one who knows how to save Chicago. I was right to have closed the gates, but no one listened! No one, even my son! Trusting outsiders like you spirits! The Allegiant brought this onto themselves." She says.
"You don't realized that it's not gonna wipe the memories of the Allegiant but the whole city!" Ellie yelled.
"What... no..." Evelyn shakes her head in denial.
"Evelyn, look, Tobias wants to stand by your side. But what you do to the city, you do to him. Is that what you want?" I asked.
Then, Tris, Tobias, and Eric appeared from behind us. "Mom, please." Tobias pleads.
"Tobias..." She breaths, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I know who you are, Mom. Don't do it, please." He begged.
