Cheyenne's POV

"When did you guys get here?" I asked as soon as they come running towards us.

"Ten minutes ago. I see that Landon freed you. We need to get out of here." Steph spoke up.

"No, we need to get this box first." Seth said.

"What box?" Molly asked.

"A box that Jeanine will get to before us." I told us.

"One of you come and open the door!" Ellie points at the door.

Peter walks over and bends over so that his face was levelled with the scanner located at the side of the door.

"Access Granted." the voice spoke as the light switched from red to green.

Then, an alarm starts blaring through the hallways as soon as the doors slid open.

"Fuck!" Zed curses, "Hurry up!"

"Tris, Tris! We have to move!" Four rushes.

I walked into the room, a light shone from above right in the center of it, revealing a box with each of the faction's symbol on each side. Tris stood in front of it, seemingly in deep thought.

"Tris!" Four yells.

"I can't!" She finally spoke, "Tobias, I can't. My mom died protecting whatever it is inside. I need to open it and I think I know how."

"Girl, if we don't leave now, we've never making it out alive!" Molly spoke.

"I know it doesn't make much sense but you all have to trust me." She says.

"With my life apparently." Seth and Four both spoke.

"Wait, no!" Landon stops just as Tris was about to step onto the metal disc, just beside the box. "You can't, you failed the Amity sim."

"We don't have a choice." Tris sighs.

"The paralytic Landon gave you may have saved you the last time, but there isn't any to save you this time, Tris. You can't!" Peter argued.

"There isn't another way, Peter!" She yells, frustration lacing her tone.

"I think there is." Seth said, making Maci and Ellie nod in agreement.

"No way, Ellie! I know what you're thinking, it's too dangerous!" Eric argues.

"I have to!"

"No, no, I can't let you, Ellie! You die, I die! Do you understand that?"

"I won't. I won't die, I promise you that. Just... trust me on this one, Eric." Ellie sighed as her eyes went purple.

As they kissed, I look at Seth and said, "Good luck."

"Promise to protect mom and Olivia." He told me before walking away.

"I know you can do it, Maci. I believe in you." Four gave Maci a confident nod before kissing her.

Then, the three of the walked over as I took Emily and Olivia out of the way as they raised their guns to their chest as a few metal tentacle-like objects swooped down and attached themselves to their bodies.

"Don't move!" A voice yells out as an automated voice spoke, "Initializing sim."

Seth's POV
I opened my eyes to find that I was in a dark room, a single light hangs from the ceiling, just a few inches shy from the middle of the room. I spun my body around to see a clear glass panel behind me. I approached the glass, carefully inspecting it as I stood in front of it.

Then, a bright light covers my eyes as I saw a familiar figure.

"Seth?" A voice calls out from behind me.

I turned around and gasped at the familiar sight of Marlene.

"Marlene!" Tears welled up in my eyes as I pulled her into a tight embrace, "I'm so sorry, Marlene."

"Don't be silly, Seth." Marlene spoke as she pulled away from the hug, "What's there to be sorry about?"

"I wasn't there to save you. You died because of me."

"No, I died because Jeanine made me kill myself." She spoke.

I clenched my jaw as soon as I heard those words leave her mouth. I could feel my muscles getting tenser as I balled my hand into a fist. "It's not your fault. You're not a killer, Seth."

"I know." My voice cracks, "But I can't help but feel like it is. I can't do this shit anymore, Marlene. I don't know how much longer I can pretend I'm this brave, fearless, and strong person when I'm not. Right now, I just want to break down and cry."

"Then, cry. And pick yourself up when you're done. Just because you fall doesn't make you weak, Seth. In fact, it's quite the opposite. You are all those things, Seth. You're like you sisters, the most fearless and strongest person I know."

"Hell, I'm not even close to that. I'm fucking scared, Marlene. I'm scared as fuck that I'm going to lose someone else like you."

Before saying, "I miss you, Marlene."

"I know. I miss you too." She says with that bright smile on her face. "I love you and believe in you, Seth. You'll make it through this. It's okay that I'm gone because I'll be with you every step of the way. In here." She points to my heart.

"I love you too."

Olivia's POV

"A-are t-they dead?" I whimpered as I look at their lifeless bodies.

"No, they're not." Four told me as he tries to wake Maci up. Zed and Landon got Seth and Tris and try to wake them up as Eric tries to wake Ellie up. Crying, screaming, and shaking them to wake them up.

I begin crying as I remember the memories we shared back home.

FLASHBACK

I ran upstairs as soon as Mom and Ray begin fighting again to my room. Then, Seth, Ellie, and Maci came in the room and cuddled with me.

"Why can't we be happy?" I whimpered.

"If he's gone, we would be happy. God, I miss dad so much." Ellie sighs.

"Us too." Maci agreed.

"I want us all to be happy." I spoke. "What if we run away together?"

"What do you mean by that?" Seth asked.

"What if we run away to a new world where we can actually be happy?" I asked.

"That would be a dream come true. That way, us plus mom will be happy together at least." Maci sighed as we all look out the window and see the stars. I really wish we can be happy somewhere else.

END OF FLASHBACK

As I remember that dream, I heard Seth, Ellie, and Maci gasping for air. I gasping too as I run towards them and hugged them so tightly, scared that they would leave me again.

"I thought you were gonna leave me!" I cried.

"Olivia, we will never leave you." Seth whispered as they all hugged me back.

"I love you."

"We love you too."

"All sims completed." The same automated voice spoke again, making us whip our heads back to face the box. "Initializing message."
