TWO YEARS LATER
Maci's POV
I never thought to see this again; peace with the family I love the most. After the gas crisis, Chicago was rebuild and we rebuild the council after Evelyn and Johanna made amends. Since then, we have live our lives out in peace. And today is Steph and Tristian's wedding since there is no LBGTQ+ community around so they want to be the first same-sex couple in the new Chicago world. And almost everyone is supportive of it.
Right now, I was just admiring myself in the mirror in this dress that Steph wanted me to wear.
"That's the dress Steph wanted you to wear?!" Tobias came in, looking dashing and hot tonight.
"Of course, this is what she wants me to wear. It's her wedding." I scoffed as his arms went around me.
"She should've been careful on the clothes she chooses for you." He whispers in my ear, seductively.
That made me blush when suddenly, a voice yells out, "Mama!"
I laughed as I saw my little girl, Desiree coming towards me as she is holding her toy.
"I'm doing your hair now." I told her as I picked her up and do her hair.
Desiree is now 2 and looks exactly like me with Tobias' eyes as our newborn son, Wyatt is now 4 months old and looks completely like him but has my eyes.
"I'll check up on the baby." Tobias said before leaving the room as I did her hair.
"You look so beautiful, baby girl." I said as I finished her hair.
"I look pretty!" Desiree giggled as she hugs me tightly.
"Let's go. We can't be late." I said as I put my heels and walked out the apartment with Desiree.
TIME SKIP
"Look at you!" I smirked as I saw Ellie coming towards me.
It looks pregnancy has done wonders to her because she looked even more beautiful with her skin glowing and her body a bit more curvy as it shows in that silver dress she's wearing.
