Seth's POV

Days went by as we are finished with shooting and aiming training is finally done. So we practiced sparring and fighting. Eric wanted to see bloodshot and beating when fighting. If he's gonna be that rude and cold ass leader, I can be like that too; but much worse... if I wanted to. Maci, Ellie, and I were studied their moves as they fights, their stances and tactics. To those who's not watching were jabbing the bags and exercise. We just watch every fights until my name will be called because I know I will be fighting today.

"Seth! In the ring. Al! In the ring." Eric barked at us. So, Al's gonna be my opponent? He's my friend. Is he testing me because of Ellie?

I got on the mat, readying myself but Al's not. We both take stances and positions. He's not attacking me so I attack first hitting his left chest. He doesn't even dodge or something.

"Sorry for what I'm about to do, Al." I apologized after I punch him in the face.

I punch his rib cage so he fell on the ground. I start kicking him until he can't continue. That's too easy. I didn't even received any punches from him. After I beat him, I helped him get up with the help from Will.

"I'm sorry, Al. I really am. I don't have a choice." I muttered as we assisted him to the infirmary. He just smiles and says, "It's okay, Seth. You really beat me good."

I punch him playfully at his shoulder and laugh. We put him at one of the hospital bed and let him rest for a while. As we bid our goodbyes, we leave the infirmary and went back to the training room. Will and I cracked some jokes and enter the training room. I saw my rank, I'm in third place as Ellie's in 4th, and Maci's in 5th. Cool! Edward's in first place followed by Peter.

Once training is over, Ellie and Maci walked over with a guy I don't even know. I think he's a Dauntless-born initiate.

"Hey, Seth! Meet Uriah. Uriah, this is our older brother, Seth." Maci introduced us.

"Nice to meet you, Seth." We shook hands and we get to meet his older brother, Zeke, then Lynn, and Marlene. We talked for a while until we were arrived to the Pit where they have parties and drinks.

"Hell yeah, I'll be there!" I cheered as we high-fived each other.

"Definitely can tell you two would be great friends." Ellie teased us.

"Great. I'm looking forward to see you guys there." Uriah says.

"Me too." Maci smiled.

"See you guys later. You too, Ellie." Zeke smirked before leaving with Lauren as he is needed in the control room.

"You too, Zeke." Ellie smiled as she blushed.

"No, you two didn't act like cute in front of those brothers?" Christina came over to us with our friends with a smirk on our faces.

"No, we wasn't!" Maci yelled with a blush on his face.

"Well, Zeke is kinda hot so... it doesn't hurt to be cute." Ellie say with a smile on her face.

I did notice sharp eyes as I turned to look at Four glancing at Maci, he looked pissed. Then, I look at the leaders' table where Eric is glancing at Ellie. He looked completely pissed and seems to be in a bad mood. The fuck is going on here?

"Hey, I can act cute if I wanna to." Maci sighed.

After lunch is over, we went back to the training hall to do some more sparring. I was jabbing the punching bags with Tris, Ellie, and Maci. We practiced hard until Four came to Tris. They seem to suit for each other. I felt a ping in my chest. What is this feeling I'm having? I can't be jealous so I punch the bag even harder. I notice him glancing at Maci before walking off. Wait! Is he trying to make her jealous?

"Tris, are you okay?" I asked.

She just nod and said, "Yeah. He just gave me a little advice."

Then, it's time for Christina to fight and heard her grunting. We came closer to her as we watched her fight with Molly. She seems beating her up. Then, she yelled, "Stop! Stop! I'm done!"

We looked at Eric as he seems to be calm. But I know that he's planning something cruel.

"Need to stop?" Eric asked.

"Yeah." Christina reply.

"Here let me gave you a hand. Okay, everyone, let's take a break!" Eric announced and he asked Christina if she's okay. It seems different from his character. Helping? No, I have a gut feeling that something sinister is gonna happening...
