Chapter Twenty-Six

*McKenzies POV*

Why would hayes cheat? And why did Jorden use her fingers as quotation notes when she said he was "dating" her?

"Uh Jorden? Are they dating, like for real? Or is he just seeing her or something?" I ask semi-rudely. I was trying not to show how hurt I was.

"Oh honey, technically they arnt dating. From what I've been told, hayes and Alicia have to be together because of Bart. I don't know why. And I really don't know the point because they aren't really supposed to tell anyone about it unless they want to." She explained, walking back and forth with her heels making loud clicking noises as she walked. It was getting quite annoying to be honest.

It was a huge relief to know that there is a chance tht hayes doesn't even want to be with her, but I still couldn't help thinking that he might. I dont know what she looks like. I don't know if she's better then me. There is a 99.9% chance she is tho. She's probably way better than me. No wonder hayes would want her.

*Hayes' POV*

I was sitting on the couch while Kenzie was getting a drink. I got a text from Alicia and I was about to reply when Kenzie walks in so I shut off my phone and looked at her.

"Uh.. Hayes?" She said. She sounded kind of... Nervous? I just shook it off and walked over to her.

"Yeah babe?" She blushed when I called her that, she's so cute.

"Is it okay if I go home? I just want some sleep to shake this off?" She sounded so nervous when she spoke. I once again didn't think anything of it i mean, she did look tired. She mustn't of gotten much sleep last night.

"Yeah that's okay babe. Did you want me to come?" I asked. I really wanted to snuggle her and keep her safe. Listen to her soft, heavy breath while she sleeps.

"No, no. You stay here incase Katie comes home. I'll text you later."

"Okay baby. You get some rest." I didn't want to leave her by herself but she had a point.

I gave her a big hug and a long kiss. Sparks flew everywhere inside of me and It felt amazing.

"Bye I-I love you." I don't know why I stuttered.

"I love you too." She blushed and kisses my check then walks out the door.

I walked back to the lounge and flopped down. I didn't know what I was going to do so I checked the text from Alicia that I totally forgot about.

A: Hey bae! I miss you! Can't wait to see you next! I'm thinking about going public...? What do you think? 😊😘

Oh no.. Public? But.. But. Shit.

I didn't know what to reply back but I knew I had to.

H: Hey. Miss you too. When are we seeing each other next? Uh idk. I'll have to think about it.

I was trying to be as blunt as possible.

She replied back almost instantly.

A: open your front door. 😁😘

I looked straight at the door. I walked over and opened it and my eyes shot open as wide as possible. Alicia is here.

"Hey baby." She says.

This can only end badly.

Sorry about the short chapter but I had to think of a way to put more drama into this so I decided that Alicia could come and mess things up.

Oh and not to mention that I'm still at my dads and I just got on my period and it's 11:45pm rn 😒 I'm so not in a good mood. But I'm updating this when I get home so I'm not at my dads when you're reading this :')
