We Can Make It (Austin Mahone)

IHOP

Vanessa's P.O.V.

I was outside enjoying the nice weather. Austin was still sleeping, probably tired from yesterday. I was sitting in the backyard reading my book. I don't really have much to do, but wait till Austin woke up. I had already been reading for awhile, I decided to check the time. I put my book down and made my way to the room, where my phone was charging. As I'm walking up the stairs Austin walks out the room. He was already dressed in a white T-shirt with black pants and his Jordan's.

"Morning sleepy head" I said still walking up the stairs

"Morning. Who long have you been awake?" He asked

"About an hour or so" I said standing in front of him

"Man I'm starving, you want to go to IHOP? I've been craving pancakes for the longest time" Austin said chuckling

"Sure. Let me just get my phone" I said walking into his room.

"Okay. I'll meet you downstairs" Austin said as I unplugged my phone from its chargers

I made my way back down the stairs. Austin was already by the door, he must really be hungry. When I'm next to Austin, he hands me my sunglasses.

"Thank you" I say putting them on

"Joe's going to be driving us" he said taking my hand and walking to the black truck

We take our seat's in the back. Austin and I talked about food the whole way there. When we got to IHOP, we made our way in. We were seated by a lady in her late thirties. We both ordered 5 regular pancakes, and now waiting for them to be ready.

"So how does it feel to be 18?" Austin asked smiling

"Pretty much the same, just the number changed" I said smiling

"Kimberly is your same age, right?" Austin asked

"She use to be. She just turned 17 last year in December" I said chuckling

"So she will be 18" he said

"Not till December" I said giggling

"She reminds me a lot of you" he said taking a sip of his water

"How so" I said

"She's just the sweetest thing ever. She laughs a lot, just like you. She's also the family princess just like you" Austin chuckle

"She's someone very close to me. Everybody says our personalities are similar. We use to hang out a LOT when we 14, not that we don't anymore. We still do its just not as much as I wish we could" I smile as I think of our memories

"You talk about her a lot, that's why I flew her down here" he says

"I know baby and thank you" I smile at him

"You don't have to thank me. Who knows maybe she'll find a guy here. She'll move here and be with us" he jokes

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny" I said sarcastically

"You don't want her to fall in love?" Austin laughs

"It's not that I don't want her. Her parents would never allow it as long as she's with them. Her parents are very strict" I told him

"So she would never go against her parents rules?" He said

"I mean she's Kimberly. It's hard to make her go against her parents" I say

"Would you support her? If she wanted to be with a guys that was older then her. Knowing it would be against her parents?" Austin asked

"How much older?" I asked
