Vanessa's P.O.V.

"Eww!" I spit the taste of carrot in my mouth

"Yay! She ate carrots!" Justin said laughing

"Water!" I yelled running to get a water bottle, to get rid of the taste

"Relax! It's not that bad" Justin said laughing

"You're so mean!" I scold him after drinking my water

In that second Kimberly came in through the door. What was she doing outside? When did she leave that we didn't hear her? She picked up a bouquet of roses that were laying on the ground, next to the door.

"Why were you outside?" I asked

She made her way upstairs with the bouquet in her hands, completely ignoring my question. I saw that she was upset about something. I looked at Justin and he jerked his head towards the stairs. Indicating that I should follow her. I then also made my way upstairs. I watched as she went inside her room and I followed. She set the bouquet of roses on the bed and she stood by the window, with her back facing me.

"Do you like him?" She said

"What? Who?" I said confused

"Justin. Is there the slightest possibility that you feel something for him?" She said

"Didn't we already talk about this?" I said still confused

"Can you just answer me? So I know what it is I'm suppose to do" she said desperately

"Kim what's going on?" I said a bit scared

"Just answer me" she said still with her back towards me

"No, I don't like Justin. He's my best friend" I said

I heard her sign in relief and she walked over to the bed. She picked up the bouquet of roses and walked my way. She stood right in front of me and she looked down at the roses.

"Austin came by. He brought theses rosés for you. As he was coming in, he saw you playing around with Justin. I know you weren't doing anything bad, but being in his shoes it wasn't the prettiest sight. He told me not to tell you that he was here... I think you should go talk to him" she said as she handed me the roses

I looked down at the rosés and completely forgot what Kim said. All I could focus on was the roses being so beautiful. I have always had a thing for red roses. I've never really liked receiving flowers, but roses were a different story. He knew they were my favorite. I felt my smile grow bigger.

"Vanessa!" Kim yelled at me as she waved a hand in front of me

"Huh?" I said focusing on her again

"Were you even listening to me!" She said angrily

"I have to go" I said handing her the roses and running out her room

"Vanessa wait!" I heard her yell

I ran down the stairs and saw Justin sitting on the couch eating carrots, as he watched tv. I quickly get my keys off the table next to the door. I hear Justin call my name, but I just yell that I'll be back soon. I open my apartment door and ran. I make my way out the building and luckily find Dylan cleaning the car windows.

"Dylan! I need you to take me to a hotel, the one you drove Austin to when we picked him up at the bar" I said almost out of breath

"Yes miss" he said getting in the car after me

We drove for about 15 minutes before we pulled up to a hotel. Dylan parked right in front of the entrance and I got out of the car. I told Dylan that he can go home and that I could find my way home. I made my way into the hotel. When I enter the hotel I walk to the front desk.
