Austin's P.O.V

3 months later

I was on my way home, coming back from the studio. Vanessa has been staying with me all along. I have the feeling that soon she will be leaving. We have been talking and she doesn't feeling right to have me pay for everything. She has been talking about moving into her own apartment. Of course I wouldn't allow her to leave my side, with the world still going crazy about our relationship. We came to the agreement, to her finding an apartment here in Miami.

My phone started to ring and it read Alex on the caller ID.

Kimberly and Alex were dating by now. The problem was that they were secretly dating. Nobody knew, accept for me. I have been hiding their little secret from Vanessa for the longest time. I know I'm doing bad with lying to Vanessa, but I just don't know how to tell her the truth. This lie has been going on for longer than I wanted it to. I thought I would have already told her by now, but I just can't. Even if their relationship was a problem it wasn't the biggest problem. It was the fact the I was promising false things to Vanessa and lying to her. I'm to the point were I can't look her in the eyes. I keep promising her that I'm not hiding anything from her, when reality is I am hiding a family problem. I hesitated to pick up the phone.

"Hello" I said finally answering the phone

"Austin, do you know when you'll be at your house?" Alex asked

"In a few minuets, why?" I said confused

"I'll see you then" he said an hung out

"What the heck was that?" I said putting the phone in my pocket

In a matter of minuets I was home. I parked the rover in the garage. I stepped out and shut my door. I made my way to the door that divide the house and garage. Once I stepped in it was quite, too quite. I started walking to the living room. There was Vanessa sitting on the couch. Across from her was Kimberly and Alex on their phones. Both acting like nothing was going on between them.

"Hey beautiful" I said making my way to Vanessa

I suddenly felt a hard hand slap my cheek. I felt my cheek start to sting and I looked at Vanessa confused. Vanessa just slapped, she would never slap me!

"You lying rat!" She yelled

"Vanessa! It wasn't his fault!" Kimberly yelled

"You lied to me... You promised me you weren't hiding anything. You kept secrets behind my back. You made false promises" She said quietly

"Baby I swear I was going to tell you" said getting near her but she backed away

"No Austin. I don't want to hear you. You only lie to me" she said and I swear it hurt to hear her say that

"Please Vanessa, just let me explain" I said holding my hands together

"I don't want to hear it. I don't even care anymore" Vanessa said throwing her hands in the air

"No, don't say that. You have to trust me on this one, please just let me explain" I begged

"Trust you! Just like you trusted me! What happened to honesty Austin? I thought you trusted me!" She yelled at me

"I do! It just that things got out of hand. I wanted to tell you, but they needed time" I tried to explain

"Vanessa, it wasn't Austin's secret. We wanted to tell you our selfs. Austin was trying to tell you but we always asked him not to. He was always against it" Alex said standing next to me

"Why didn't you guys tell me..." Vanessa look down

"We were just afraid you would tell my dad" Kimberly said
