The front door opened and Tiffany lifted her head from the couch cushion, watching the familiar figure of her best friend slash roommate walk past, disappearing inside her bedroom without saying a word to her.
The apartment had been extra quiet lately and it began to bother her that her roommate was taking longer than usual to get over her somber mood. With a huff, she pushed herself up and decided to check on her, hoping that she would open up.
She knocked on the closed door. “Taeyeon?”
“What?” came the flat reply.
“Can I come in?”
“Hm.”
She pressed the handle and pushed the door open to see Taeyeon lying on the bed, typing on her phone. “You okay?” she asked.
Taeyeon turned her head, looked at her and said nothing.
“Were you out with her?” she asked, approaching the bed.
Taeyeon scooted aside, quietly making room for the other girl to lie down next to her.
