“That is so uncalled for!” yelled Taeyeon as she slammed the door behind her.

“I was just trying to protect you!”

“From what? The big bad wolf?!”

“Yes! That’s exactly what he is! A wolf. A two-timer. A typical pathetic player.”

“And you know this how? Have you seen him cheat on someone? Have you witnessed him playing with people’s hearts?”

“No but-…”

“Then you have no right to do what you did!”

“I saw two girls fight because of him! Right there in front of my very eyes! Ask Sooyoung! She was there too! He was two-timing them!” said Tiffany with her finger pointed at the door.

“Is there any proof that he did what they accused him of?”

“I don’t know but-…”

“Then it’s just a matter of he said she said! Other people’s groundless claims are not enough reason for you to meddle with my personal life!” Taeyeon raised her voice.

“Excuse me? Didn’t you hear me? I am trying to protect you!”

“I didn’t ask for your protection!”

“What the-… So you want to be hurt by him? You want to be added to his list of conquests? To be another girl he uses and dumps?!” Tiffany shouted even louder.

“He’s not like that!”

“I heard-…”

“I’m the one who’s been talking to him every day for the past three months! Don’t you think I know him better than you who just listen to gossip and happen to watch two silly girls fight over him?!” retorted Taeyeon as she took a step forward, eyes burning with anger.

“But-…”

“Enough, Fany. I don’t want you messing with my personal life. Don’t stick your nose into other people’s business. Especially those you don’t know anything about,” she hissed while pointing her finger at her shocked best friend.

“I AM TRYING TO PROTECT YOU!” Tiffany’s voice finally reached its maximum volume.

“THEN YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE IT THAT WAY!” Taeyeon’s reply was louder than Tiffany had ever heard the girl speak in all the years that they’d been friends.
