Tiffany took a deep breath and gave her band mates a thumbs-up when the current performance neared its end.

The group had sat down and talked things out the day after the little fight. Tiffany explained everything and although the rest wasn't exactly supportive, they quietly decided among themselves to wait and see how things between Tiffany and Taeyeon would play out before doing or saying anything about it again.

"And that was the Gate Crashers," said the host after then noise had died down. "Can't think of a more appropriate name." He pointed at the guitar remnants that littered the stage. "Anyway, it's now time for that band that I know many of you have come to see."

Cheers and applause rang through the open area as the host continued describing Tiffany's band.

"Ready?" asked Tiffany as she put one hand out, palm down. "Let's go all out tonight. No holding back. We're here to have fun and to win. Got that?" She looked around the small circle of people.

The rest placed their hands on Tiffany's but said nothing.

"Hey, come on. Do you hear that noise? That's all for us. It's our time. I'm not her. I'm here till the end. We do this together, Unnies," she addressed them respectfully for the first time in years, surprising some. She looked at them one by one in the eyes with determination and sincerity. "Let's bring the onslaught!" she shouted their slogan.

The others finally grinned and shouted along.

"Here's the Dawn Onslaught!" announced the host and the band ran up the stage, hands and chins up, teasing the crowd as they went to the front and to the sides of the stage.

"Is that all you got?" Tiffany yelled into the mic while her band mates plugged their instruments in and set up.

The crowd roared even louder.

"That's better. Now don't wet your pants, kids, 'cause we're bringing the onslaught!"

With that the first chord struck and pyrotechnics stage effects shot up, lighting the darkening sky.

She gave it all. Each and every one of them gave it her all.

As she dropped the mic to the floor at the end of their set, bathed in sweat and panting through her smirk, she pointed at the wild crowd and then at her band mates. "THE ONSLAUGHT, BITCHES!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, and the audience hollered even louder.

"Well done," said the drummer, patting Tiffany's back as they made their way backstage. "Sorry I doubted you."

Tiffany smiled and returned the gesture to convey her acceptance.

They were happy and loud as they confidently waited in the dressing room, drinking beers and munching on the food their manager had brought.

"Hey, they're on," said the drummer, pointing at the old TV on the dressing table showing Taeyeon's band as the last performer of the night since they were last year's winner.

Needless to say, there was a reason why Taeyeon's band was the highlight of almost every rock event in the country – and why they were the defending champion.

Just when Tiffany thought that she had brought out the best out of the crowd, an even crazier atmosphere began to form and fireworks were going out nearly nonstop.

Taeyeon belted note after note, relentlessly running, leaping, taking over the stage.

A shot from above showed the audience moving like a gigantic tidal wave, from the front all the way to the back. No one was left sitting on the grass or even looking away. They were absorbed, trapped in the vortex that was Taeyeon, the Gold Chain Killer's leader, and her charisma.
