"One more."

She heard Taeyeon say as the woman pulled her close once again, readying the camera in front of their faces before taking another picture.

"You're seriously going to take at least two pictures of the same pose for the entire trip?" she asked as she watched her smile while checking the result in the digital camera.

Taeyeon nodded. "I plan to print them out in pairs so you and I can each have one."

"You can just print the same photo twice you know."

Taeyeon froze before face-palming herself.

She laughed at her, pointing her finger at the sulking face before she kissed the pouting lips. "Cute."

She smiled when Taeyeon's arms went around her, not letting her go but deepening their kiss instead.

The past week had been sheer bliss. They were finally acting like a real couple, walking around, going to the movies, have romantic dinners, sightseeing while holding hands and take endless pictures. They could kiss, hug and basically do anything without anyone staring at them.

Tiffany knew that Taeyeon always had that sadness hidden behind her excited front. Sometimes she'd catch her staring at her with tears in her eyes or hugging her a bit longer than she should.

She didn't mind a single thing that Taeyeon did. She just wished that the sadness would go away.

Taeyeon still wouldn't tell her anything so she stopped asking. She figured that it'd eventually come out when Taeyeon felt the time was right.

"I love you," whispered Taeyeon against her lips after the kiss ended. "Please don't ever forget that for as long as you live."

She opened her eyes. "Hey, don't talk like that."

There was something in Taeyeon's words and tone that alerted her, evoking a subtle yet unsettling fear inside, and she didn't like that at all. "Don't say that."

Taeyeon merely smiled, took Tiffany's hand in hers and resumed walking.

"Fany-ah, can you do me a favor?"

She turned her head, observing the side profile of the person she had grown to love so much in such a short span of time. "Sure. What is it?"

Taeyeon kept her eyes on the dark water, dotted with yellow reflection of the lights from the buildings across the river. "Forgive me?"

"What? Forgive you?"

Taeyeon nodded.

"But you've done nothing wrong."

She watched Taeyeon's lips curve into a sad smile and finally met the pair of sad eyes when Taeyeon turned her head.

"I have. I made a very big mistake."

She heard her say.

"What? When?"

"A long time ago."

"What?" She wasn't getting any of this.

"You'll understand one day. For now, can you do me that favor?"

She furrowed her brows. "Well, yeah, I guess I can but I don't get it."

Taeyeon merely smiled and kissed Tiffany's forehead. "Thank you for the best months of my life."
