Tiffany messily drank, wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and threw the water bottle and its remaining contents into the crowd. She stole a glance at the side of the stage, where someone in gold and black had been staring at her since the beginning of the set. She winked at Taeyeon and pointed her finger at her. "Watch and learn," she said blatantly into the mic.

"You want more?!" She then shouted at the crowd, eliciting roars and shouts. "Ha! I'm not sure you can handle more." She then turned around, facing her band mates. "Shall we give them more, ladies?"

The bassist shrugged while the guitarist spoke into her mic. "Don't think they can stomach more Ariels."

The crowd went into an uproar, making the whole band laugh.

"Well, since you asked so nicely," teased Tiffany. "Let's bring the onslaught!"

The drummer began to beat, sounding that unique intro to the hit track from one of their earlier albums, joined by the bass soon after.

Lights dimmed around the rumble that was the ecstatic crowd that instantly recognized the song as lasers flashed amidst strobe lights – a new mixed concept they were trying out for this festival.

As soon as the first guitar chord struck, pyrotechnic effects blasted while fireworks shot into the sky, and Tiffany – who had stealthily disappeared behind the drummer – leaped from the raised podium, landing not so perfectly at the front of the stage. She managed to expertly mask it with her cool attitude, making everything seem part of the act, flawless.

She smirked as she kept singing, secretly thanking her rival for inspiring her to try daring stage antics.

The song ended in a high note with the whole stadium literally singing and screaming along to every word, rocking with hands high in the air.

They were the final performer of the day, being seniors and arguably the top, most successful, all female rock band in the country's history.

Tiffany panted for air but never lost her smile. She lifted her hand and let out a shout. "Whoo! Can't tarnish, bitches!"

Everyone got the hint for the next song and began applauding through their whistles, screams and cheers.

The energy didn't fade despite the mellow sound of the chart-topping rock ballad. Instead, the crowd began to sing along yet again, swaying their raised hands like waves in an ocean of people.

Tiffany gave it her all, singing each word by heart. It was her favorite song, after all, and knowing that Taeyeon was there, watching, listening, made the moment feel even more special to her.

The song soon neared its climax, right after that short bar of pause that followed the instrument only interlude.

She opened her eyes and inhaled, preparing herself to shout that high note that would bring the crowd into that pinnacle – the point of release where emotions and passion collided, sending chills and goose bumps through her body unwaveringly every time she performed this song.

But before she could let out even the smallest squeak, another voice came roaring through the speakers and monitors, taking over her line.

Tiffany spun around and saw Taeyeon walking towards her with her trademark gold microphone in hand, flawlessly belting out note after note like it was her own song.

The band members exchanged looks but since the show must go on, they continued playing while quietly smirking or shaking their heads at the fearless rival vocalist.

Such act was unprecedented, as proven by the outcry that reverberated through the stadium. Some staff and audience members could even swear that the whole structure was shaking when the crowd reacted to Taeyeon's unplanned appearance on the stage.
