Taeyeon suppressed a yawn. As much as she liked parties, she was tired from the tour and the after show activities. All she wanted to do was take Tiffany back to the bus and sleep before they hit the next tour location.

She took another swig from her champagne glass then left it on a table nearby before she left to search for the toilet.

After rejecting a few people coming up to her for autographs or pictures – plus several squealing girls she was sure were still underage – on her way back to the noisy room, she began shoving people aside so she could find Tiffany faster. She couldn't care less what they said about her manners. She was tired and tipsy.

The last time she saw Tiffany, the woman was dancing with her band mates. But as she neared that dance floor, she realized that there was an unmoving group of people standing in the middle of it while the rest continued dancing awkwardly and stealing glances towards the center.

Taeyeon frowned, mumbled 'get out of the way' and 'move', then quickened her steps.

She stopped in her tracks when she saw what was going on.

The immobile group of people consisted of none other than Tiffany's band mates and a few of her own members.

But the sight that made her blood boil was the tall woman standing in front of Tiffany and the ongoing stare down between the two.

Some of the band members saw Taeyeon and stepped aside, making way for her.

Without a word, Taeyeon held Tiffany by the arm and pulled her back. She then stood in her place, looking defiantly at the woman she hated most.

"Ah so it is true," the tall lady smirked. "I was wondering when you'd show up." She then looked at Tiffany. "How is she? Looks kinda small." She gestured at Taeyeon with her finger, sizing the blonde out. "Then again midgets could be dynamites in bed."

Taeyeon almost launched herself at that woman, hands itching to inflict damage, if it wasn't for Tiffany holding her back.

"Screw you!" Tiffany told the woman while her both hands grabbed Taeyeon's arm firmly.

"Ah memories. You've done that many times indeed, Tiff."

Taeyeon snarled as she clenched the hand that wasn't in Tiffany's hold, trying hard not to slap that condescending grin.

"Go home, bitch. Go lick your wounds somewhere else," she said, nearly growling.

Everyone knew that the woman's band was never a big hit. After two albums, they disbanded and the woman went solo, also to never really make the top of the charts.

The last thing anyone heard from her was that her agency had let her go and she was signed by another, even smaller, agency before releasing a surprising pop single last year.

The tall woman ignored Taeyeon, keeping her eyes on Tiffany instead. Her hand went to her neck, bringing Tiffany's attention to the silver star pendant. She smirked when she saw Tiffany take the bait, eyes now fixed on the necklace.

"Remember this?" she asked. "I've never forgotten you. I knew you'd be a star someday. I practically discovered you, didn't I?"

"You abandoned her and us!" Tiffany's guitarist shouted loud enough for everyone to hear. "You screwed us over!"

The music slowly died down as every head turned towards them.

The smirk on the tall singer's face grew, happy for the full attention she now had. Ignoring her angry ex-band mate, she kept her eyes on Tiffany. "I mean no harm. Like I said before this squirt interrupted us," she pointed at Taeyeon again, "I just wanted to congratulate you. You've really made it, Tiff."
