She opened the door just in time to see her friend bash the piano keys in frustration.
“Why are you abusing company property?”
She asked the girl who was groaning with her palms covering her face.
Calmly closing the heavy door behind her, she went further inside the soundproof room, approaching her friend.
She saw the papers strewn all over the electronic baby grand piano along with pencils and eraser dust and took the sheet on top of the messy pile, reading it.
“Still working on this?”
“…”
“It’s been months, Taeng.”
With a sigh, the quiet pianist finally dropped her hands, staring up blankly at her friend. “Why do you think I’m so stressed lately?”
“I thought it was because of your whole unrequited love thing. With Fany, I mean.”
“Shut up.”
Taeyeon harshly snatched the paper from Sunny’s hands, crumpled it then threw it to the wastebasket at the corner. There were other paper balls and misshapen papers in and around the metal container, the result of hours of fruitless effort.
