Its the afternoon and the weight of the anxiety is forming. Everyone has been feeling anxious, except for me and it's because we get our results back for our math exam tomorrow. It's a shame when the whole class has to take a surprise exam because someone decided to disrespect the teacher. My feelings about the exam couldn't be anymore relaxed. That's another first place memory for me. As I head into the gym, the edges of my lips pull up into a smirk. Mother will be so proud.

At this school we have a courtyard right in the middle and it reminds me of Marinette's school. Only we have black thin slates of metal platforms for the second floor and white stairs and railings. The white stairs from afar look marble, but it's metal. Almost all classes that I have are on the second floor, while PE is on the first floor. The girls locker rooms are located to the right of the courtyard and the guys are on the left. The actual lockers are in a room on the far end of the courtyard opposite to the south entrance.

Whoever decided to make this layout, must've wanted students to enjoy the outdoors while at school. The architecture does look brilliant, it's confusing at first, but after a while it meshes well.  I fell in love with the vaulted ceilings when I first saw them in the English room. The style is beautiful and the idea isn't as popular as one would think.

The girls locker room is white with dark wooden lockers that also match the entrance doors. The bathroom on the right has full length mirrors, hair dryers, showers and two bathing areas. The floor is all white tile and to my left is a sauna. Opening my locker a group of girls walked in, Mila included. They gossip and laugh and I feel a headache start to form.

Our PE uniforms have three different choices for girls. Most girls seem to go for the skirt with shorts sewn in, but I've always felt comfortable in sweats ironically. We do have shorts as an option, but it's getting colder now and since I wear a skirt all day, I'd like to have a choice on the matter. Mila walks out with a couple of the girls as she cackles about a stupid joke she made. I'm usually the first one on the mats for PE, but this time I decided to be last. Once all the gossipers leave, I take in one last breath and exit out the doors.

The gym is like any other, but it's a rubber ground rather than wooden. There is a closet in the far corner across the room that contains any sport equipment needed. Some padded walls on either side of the basketball hoops. It's all in a red color with black lines everywhere. There is another room beside it for weight training. I only know this because we had to take the wrestling mats out if we wanted to do gymnastics.

Today we have a substitute for our teacher, so it's a free day. I like to practice gymnastics or archery, but since the substitute doesn't feel comfortable with either she suggested a game of frisbee. The rules are we each get a team of five. Four teams total, which means three games total. I thought it was a waste of time, but everyone else believed otherwise.

"Oh don't be such a stick in the mud Tsurugi. You're just afraid no one will choose you." Felix says with a sardonic smile, as he walks past me.

"But Vanily. didn't you know? I'm always the first choice." I show a fake concerned look and smile venomously.

"Not when it came to my cousin." He smirks.

The sting I felt made me close my mouth. The pain is still there and I didn't think Felix would intentionally use that against me. Apparently anything is fair game. If a fight is what he wants, then I'll shatter him into nothing.

The team captains have been chosen finally. It only took a good ten minutes to decide. We could've just drawn out of a hat, but of course popularity is one of those major advantages for voting. It's displeasing how that's a vital element to becoming a captain for a stupid game.
