Kagami
It's Monday, which means dinner is tonight. I'm clenching my book bag so tightly and for a second I forget about that party everyone is excited about this weekend. Logan will do great, but I'm actually nervous about meeting his father. I wonder what his father looks like?
"Well if it isn't Tsurugi, have you come to welcome me back?" His voice was venomous and rotund. Oh right he's back today, I sigh.
"Nope, just trying to open my locker." I finally got it to open. Is he dense? It is my locker and he's just conveniently located near me.
Felix's locker is just three from mine, so every morning I get an earful. I would trade with anyone in a heartbeat, but unfortunately these are assigned for the full school term. Had I known he was next to me I would've requested for a different section.
"I guess that's beneath you, huh?" He snorts and I bite my lip in order to keep myself from speaking. "Honestly, I was hoping to see Mila first. She's nicer on the eyes." How vile.
"Good morning Kagami." Slowly my eyes close and I inhale to relax myself only to be welcomed by his soothing voice. A smile is stretched against my face as I look up at the redhead staring down at me. My eyes take in the sigh before me.
"Good morning Logan." He brushes past Felix and leans on the locker left from mine. He looks handsome today, not that he never does, just today he looks even more pleasant than before.
"Are you excited about tonight?" He crosses his arms as he raises his eyebrows in excitement.
"Yes and we have some good food for you and your father. I just hope it goes well." I close my locker and walk with Logan. My arm's caught and I look over to see Felix holding me.
"Where do you think you're going? We aren't done talking." He looks angry and it puts a smile on my face. This is the Vanily I acquainted myself with.
"Were we talking? I don't recall." I pull my arm from his grasp, "Don't ever touch me again." I scowl as I leave him.
"Fuck you, Tsurugi." I thought I liked him saying my name, but for some reason it just annoys me. At the party he was kind, but now he's being cruel for no reason. Perhaps the state he was in was different which made it sound better?
"Say that one more time, Felix!" Logan hisses. Felix glares and the tension in the room suffocates me. Logan wraps his arm around my shoulder, while still staring at Felix. We walk out of the locker area and I shrug off his arm. He looks upset after shrugging his arm off, but he needs to understand the steps that need to be made.
Our encounter was sudden, he confessed without understanding the type of person I am. When he told me he had liked me since last year, I felt a bit uneasy at the idea. Someone watching your every move. It didn't sit well with me, so I am hesitant about this match up. He is good looking, but that's the only attraction I have. Sure it is.
"How many times do I have to tell you, I can fight my own battles. We are just friends so don't try to act so possessive over me. We are not together." If there is anything that annoys me more than Felix it's the ego that a guy has. Logan's was showing and I didn't like it.
"I'm trying Kagami. I just get possessive and when Felix comes into the picture all I want to do is smash his face in. He's not a great person." As Logan tells me this I can't help but understand. Felix does speak to me in a crude manner, he's persistent and he's cruel regardless if you saw him break down in front of you.
"Why do you think I told him not to touch me? I don't like him grabbing me either and I know he's an asshole. I've always known that since the day I met him. Listen, I have to get to class. I'll see you later, okay?" Logan nods and we head our separate ways.
