It's Friday, which means tomorrow is the Agreste party, which gives today Logan's victory. Logan's determination is definitely one of the many good qualities I see in him, apart from those eyes of his. His fiery hair flashes into my mind. The temptation of learning more about Logan is etching its way into me. Every crevice that I am unaware of yearns for it. He's already won.

My mother decided not to drop me off today, she took Tatsu earlier this morning and had one of our chauffeurs take me to school. It seems she is preparing for tomorrow night and the more I remind myself about it, the more I begin to dread it.

My locker has no sign of Felix and the feeling of dismay spreads within me. His annoyance wasn't welcoming, but it's been tolerable the past month and a half. The memories of him waiting to say a witty joke, a provocative comment or to be just cruel floats in my mind. The edges of my lips curl up as I reminisce.

"Kagami, good morning." His soft voice is smooth and reminds me of Lindor chocolates.

"Logan, hi, uh good morning to you." His shoulders fill out his uniform nicely, his tie is placed perfectly and his hair has been gelled back without any stragglers.

"I thought I'd dress my hair properly for today since I'll be asking your mother for permission." His smile is so gentle and I feel my heart strings tug.

"I appreciate the thought. Two things: We have PE before you see her and she's not able to see you, but it's always great to have a good first impression. It's not everyday I have a boy asking for my presence somewhere." My mother won't allow this. I can't tell him that though.

"I brought backup gel." He winks, "I'll see you later?" He says clenching his backpack strap tightly.

"Yes, you will." He smiles and waves as he leaves along with that woodsy scent of his.

First class of the day was history with Mr. Shifani. He decided to give us a test and I couldn't be more grateful. I've tried to focus on lectures so harshly that it was difficult to keep it up. What's Felix up to? The thought surfaces for the third time, while my pencil tries to circle an answer.

The test was multiple choice, so it was easy to know what answers were correct. However, with those questions popping up, it was a difficult task to keep. It was a maximum of three pages. Kagami, you know these questions stop hesitating! It's true, I do know the answers, it's simple. It's that damn boy's fault!

My eyes close while I inhale to calm my mind. My eyes slowly open to see the white sheet filled with historic questions. Okay, I'm in the zone. I flipped through each question without hesitation and the answers flowed through like a river. Once finished, I turned my test over and raised my hand. Mr. Shifani walks over to collect my test and I ask if I could go to the restroom.

Today feels dull and I wonder if it's because I'm anxious about lunch or if I am hoping something thrilling will happen. The lockers were tranquil and I blame that on Felix. Usually with Felix in school there's gossip, girls crying, girls fawning and even guys fighting. It's too quiet and it makes me wonder how much pull he has in this school.

The cold water hitting my face revives me a bit and I stare at myself in the mirror. Not sure how this could help me or what it does to benefit someone, but I continue to stare. Felix would probably say something like, "you know people might think you've gone insane doing that." or "Does that do anything other than show how ugly you look?" or "Tsurugi, should I leave you alone or?" Before I know it my lips curl into a smile and my eyes focus back to the mirror.

Tsurugi

The first time I remember him saying my last name he didn't mess it up. We met at the Agreste Mansion, but we didn't speak. Not until he transferred last year, not until he had been introduced to the class the second week of school. He was a bit different then too, his hair was slicked back and he carried himself more cautiously. He was rude to everyone except Mila. His friends would talk about him behind his back. Mila had fallen in love by day two.
