Hey guys just letting you know I was under the weather for this chapter. That's why it took so long, but don't worry I gave ya'll some back story ;)

Also some how I accidentally unpublished all 16 chapters so I had to go and republish. Hopefully ya'll were able to keep your place!

Now let's begin!

Kagami

That very same day I tried to track Alyssa down, but when I did she had gone home. That whole week she was out of school and when I asked my mother she said that they have been in the process of moving. My mother had informed me that they left for the states due to a new job opportunity her father received two weeks later. In the end I never got a chance to rectify the situation.

The years of friendship between Mila and I had rapidly deteriorated. We spoke less and less and by the time summer came, she made it known that we were no longer friends. A few rumors had spread about how terrible of a friend I was, how Alyssa was a stalker and that Tyler and I were mingling behind Mila's back and before I knew it I was known as the ice queen. A heartless conniving friend.

That year my mother took me to see my family back in Japan. I took fencing gear in order to continue my training and when I came back I tried out for a spot on the fencing team. That's when I met Adrien and soon after Marinette. She became a close acquaintance and then friend. Someone I could share my feelings with.

I'm not sure when my feelings for Adrien developed entirely, it could've been from the rose he gave me or just the small moments we had shared, but I knew when I told Marinette that I liked Adrien it would mean our friendship would tarnish just like my previous one. I had kept myself from expressing my feelings for years because of Mila, this time I wanted something different with Marinette. Trust. I wanted to have some piece of happiness on my own.

The thing is I didn't need to tell Marinette that I liked him, she had already known. After asking Adrien out we started off alright, but it didn't last long. His mind was elsewhere. His heart wasn't in it and that's when I knew it wasn't for me. Marinette and I continued talking and after my break up we still do talk. I gave it my all, now all I can do is encourage her to try. She deserves happiness.

"..Felix?" Marinette is staring at me and I've completely missed what she had asked.

"What was that?" Alyssa didn't recognize me did she? Because I sure as hell didn't recognize her. She's different. Very different. She's tanner, her hair is darker, she's gotten taller and her curves are curvier.

"So are you guys having breakfast? Mind if I join you?" Adrien walks back over to us, which deflects Marinette's second attempt. He glances at Marinette and she averts his gaze.

"Actually we just got done eating, but Marinette did say she wanted to go to the fabric store down the street." I lie knowing Marinette is bashing me in her mind, "I unfortunately have to return by noon so I can't make it, but if you go to my place that would be great!" I need to clear the air before I lose this second chance. I need to talk to her. She needs to hear from me what happened that day.

"I have time to kill before father is done with his conference. Is that alright Marinette?" I look at her and she looks pale. She's about to faint.

"Uh-bathroom! I need to go to the bathroom. Kagami, here's my half for breakfast." She throws me some cash and runs out of her seat. I know for a fact she's going to hide.

"Is she okay?" Oh poor naïve Adrien, if only you knew. I make note that Alyssa is still seated at the table nearby.

"She'll be fine. " I stand up, "Adrien?" I look back at him.
